Chapter 1: The uncertainty

Blade had been walking around for a very long time now and didn't know where he was currently.

After making a lot of turns his face broke into a smile!

He had found it!!!

Yes he finally found it! It was an item that looked old and broken, it was like a broken recorder but Blade knew it wasn't fully damaged. As long as he could salvage what's left and turn it into the government he would get 5 super coins for getting an item from the pre-magnetic era!

The government, after the magnetic storm that swept through the earth in AD 2095, announced that all earthlings are to get a new identity.

Their identity was installed at the back of their arms.The identity system was put in place so that the remaining 1.3 billion humans left could have a structure to prevent civilization regression.

Since most people who survived became superhumans, the government's regulations were a little strict. As fate would have it, most of the people (about 15% of the world's population) who survived, were government officials.

So the structure they came up with was not strong but steady.

After the magnetic storm that wiped out humans earthlings became stronger and wiser. They discovered so many natural resources that wasn't discovered before the magnetic era.

They found new uses of crude oil and even discovered that it was not the best thing to use for fuel.

Since our nervous system transmitted impulses 2x faster than normal, and 30% of the human brain was unlocked, naturally humans could reason better and even some geniuses had unlocked about 35% of the human brain. 30% was the average unlocking and reaction speed was 0.5 seconds per super human.

Humans finally found the light in the midst of this darkness.... And that year was the beginning of a new millennium AD 3000.

The government discovered that everytime a normal object of the pre-magnetic era was gathered together, they could get rid of the Earth's magnetic field around an area.

It was just like the scientifical vacuum in air.

Normal objects were now worth a fortune and everyone were selling their personal possessions.

5 years later....

Blade was one of those superhumans without a super power. The government had explained that it was because their magnetic field wasn't resonating strongly with the Earth's magnetic field.

Blade refused to believe in that but rather purposed in his heart that he would become the strongest superhuman among earthlings. Anyway, for now that was just his dreams and he first of all has to scavenge for pre-magnetic objects so that he would be able to earn enough for his daily needs.

Blade's anti magnetic detector picked up something and his eyes widened in delight!

He found the remains of a car!

Blade looked up to the sky and laughed, the heavens were really good to him today. Now he just had to sit back and enjoy the rest of the month without scavenging. His efforts had rewarded him and surely he would get more than 1000 super coins!
