69 A Grave Mistake

Blake had his eyes locked on the woman, narrowed down at her face. He wanted nothing more than to put her in her place, but at the same time, he knew what was more important.

"You better keep your mouth zipped, Miss." He muttered out with his clenched jaw as he pulled his phone out of the inner pocket of his coat.

Seeing that it was the man whom he had instructed to look for Lillian and Clare, he wasted no time in picking it up.

"What is it?" He spoke into the phone's speaker.

"You should get here as soon as possible." The man replied to him. "I am inside the mansion, ground floor's restroom." He added in the same troubled tone.

"Got it! Give Adam a call as well." Blake instructed him before disconnecting the call. He then turned his attention towards the woman who was still standing in the same spot with her pale face. "Consider this your lucky day. You better not show me your face ever again." He gritted through his teeth before walking away.
