The Madforged
Mdm Cain left the residence without anyone knowing. She drove her black car towards the direction of the famous and busiest resort in the city, the Waterpikes. Instead of going through the main entrance, she took another route towards the highest buildings in the resort, one that could only be accessed by certain authorized people.
"Mdm Selia? Why are you here? Are you looking for Mr. Perren? He is not available right now," A man who was standing guard at the entrance of the building approached Mdm Cain's who appeared to be in a rush. A look of surprised on his face.
Mdm Cain scowled at the man who stood in front of her. She had just arrived a minute ago and was about to rush toward the big building in front of her. When she heard the man called the name she once used, she scowled.
"Go and tell him this: Selia has come," she impatiently urged the man to go but the man didn't move an inch. He stood there blocking her sight.
"You!" Mdm Cain was angered as she kept pointing her finger towards the man who was resolute to prevent her from continuing forward. How dare a mere doorman stopped her!
"Mdm Selia, you should now that you're no longer a part of the Madforged. Mr. Perren had given the order not to allow your entrance," the man was calm. Not a little bit intimidated by Mdm Cain's anger.
"No! He'll see me! Bring me to him. Right now!" Mdm Cain screamed as she tried to run passed the man. However, she was easily caught and now her movement was completely restrained.
"Let me go! Let me go!"
The man frowned as he watched the woman in his arm screamed like a madwoman. He was about to stuff her mouth with something when a voice ended his action.
"Let her go," a man wearing a grey robe with a cigarette on his fingers walked towards Mdm Cain. He was a man in her forties. As he walked, the robe he wore couldn't hide the horrendous scar on his chest.
"Boss!" the man immediately salute the moment he saw the man in grey robe. Then, he left the area as soon as he received the signal from him.
"After so many years. After everything that I've done to you. Why is it that today I saw your face again? Huh, Selia?" the man questioned. His eyes were harboring contempt towards the woman in front of him.
"Perren, you must help me again!" Mdm Cain, upon seeing the man, immediately walked on her knees to get closer to the man. She pulled on the man's rob with all her strength.
"Helping you? After your betrayal, I don't think you deserve my help," Perren, the man wearing the grey robe sneered. He grabbed Mdm Cain's hair and pulled her up.
"Get lost from here. You should be happy I didn't ruin your husband." Perren's enunciated each word with pure anger. His eyes had no pity towards the pitiful woman in front of him. All he had was disgust.
"You must help me or I'll tell the world what you have done!"
"Oh, and what is it? What is it that you'll tell the world? huh?" Perren scoffed. His eyes squinted as he provoked the woman to speak further. When he saw her remained silent, he let out a boisterous laugh, almost like a rumble of thunder. Mdm. Cain shuddered when she heard his laughter. However, her eyes were determined.
"Perren, you knew I was once the closest to you. I knew everything that most people don't. You are indeed the king in the underground world but in the business world, you are nothing compared to Cain. If you refuse to help me, I'll let my husband leak the information I have on you!" Mdm Cain's eyes lit up as soon as she finished her sentence. How can she forget that she had the upper hand? If not, this man would have killed her a long time ago.
"So that man knows about me? Interesting counter Selia. You really don't disappoint me with your betrayal. Now tell me, should I kill you tonight so that he wouldn't know?" Perren spluttered every word in contempt. His hand that was holding Mdm Cain's hair was getting stronger.
"Hehehe, killing me is your suicidal too. Perren, listen. If you help me this time, I promised I'll keep the information hidden,"
Perren spit. He stared at the woman in disbelief. "Woman, you dare to threaten me? Ahh, did your husband know about us too? If so, I must share your dirty recordings with him. No-no, should I send those recordings to your husband or maybe the media? I believe your reputation will love it," he laughed mockingly. At the same time, he let go of Mdm Cain's hair causing her to fall on the ground.
Mdm Cain felt the pain in her butt the moment she was thrown to the ground. However, it couldn't compare to the fear that came the moment she heard what Perren was saying.
"You-you must help me. I'm willing to do anything as long as you help me," she pleaded. She knew what the man was talking about. Her reputation today couldn't afford to be eaten by her dark past. No way! She would do anything to keep her dark past hidden from the public eyes.
"Really?"
She heard the man asked and she nodded vigorously. What more can she say? Her reputation was extremely important to her.
"Hehehe..." a laugh that sounded evil left the man's blackened lips. From the corner of her eyes, Mdm Cain could see him licked his upper lips lustfully. She shivered.
"Selia, you knew what I always want from you. I'll help you in return for your service every week starting from today," Perren continued to laugh as he lifted Mdm Cain's body towards the building.

Camellia was looking at her phone hesitantly when the big screen in front of her flickered. Soon, Henry's face appeared.
"Young Miss, I've found which group was infiltrated by Mr. Willow Jr. and his friend," Henry spoke. His face was serious as always. Camellia smiled at the man and nod approvingly. "Good, tell me about it," she said.
