The Return of Alice
A decade back in Castro Street, San Francisco a fourteen year old cute and cheerful girl named Alice lived.She was a very shy girl. Alice didn't grow up with her parents, She was adopted by Mr.Thompson and Mrs.Thompson. From the day when Alice was taken by Thomsons, she was subjected to slavery .The regular drudgery of her, lead her to a mental sickness. From day to night she was busy in her chores.Mrs.Thompson was very cruel with Alice and never let her go to school or study at home. They always keep her busy in several works such as dish washing, floor cleaning, dusting, lawn mowing. Nobody had shown a scrap of sympathy to Alice.
Alice's mother died due to coronary thrombosis, and her father also left her and allianced with another women and after that nothing much can be known about them. Alice was fully unescorted in her house as well as in her life. So Mr. and Mrs.Thompson decided to adopt her , not as child but as slave.
Her sereneity was totally wrecked. Both Mr.Thompson and Mrs.Thompson used to flog her if she refused from the work accorded to her. She was not even allowed to watch TV when she was done with all her chores. She was brutally whipped if she did any mistake in her work. One day Alice had mistakenly broken a precious flower vase, it was not only precious but also very favourite of Mrs.Thompson. After Mrs.Thompson saw the broken vase she outrageously said "How dare you?, broke my most favourite vase, do you know how expensive it is?". Alice was just shivering in front of her and can't decide what to say exactly. In anger Mrs.Thompson clutched her hair and hardly dashed her head against the wall. Alice fell on the floor and full blood was coming out of her head. Mrs.Thompson was in panic after seeing that scenario. In the mean time Mr.Thompson came out of his room and after seeing such terrific emblem of death , he too was in dilemma what to do. In order to stow away from police they decided to bury Alice's dead body in the back of their residence where nobody went.
Again from the next day everything was going normal. As usual Mr.Thompson went to his office and Mrs.Thompson was busy in her household works. But one day something happened that they haven't imagined in their lifetime.
One night Mr. and Mrs.Thompson were in thier deep nap , suddenly Mrs.Thompson perceived a sound of something breaking. She woke up at a full tilt and realised something was actually wrong. She went out of her room and she saw that the light in their drawing room was flickering. Mrs.Thompson frantically moved towards their drawing room when she entered the room and she saw something that she can't believe in her own eyes. She gaped at the floor , her mouth was opened in horror, amazement and disbelief.
There lay the, broken pieces of her favourite and expensive flower vase which Alice had broken by mistake. Mrs.Thompson was in anguish fear and she ran towards her room and called Mr.Thompson and told what she had exactly seen. Both Mr. and Mrs.Thompson rushed down and saw that broken pieces were still there. When Mr.Thompson moved forward to pick it up, he heard a raucous crying voice of a child and all the lights and bulbs around them started flickering. They both were in dilemma what to do. They were slowly becoming numb, and decided to vamoose from their house but suddenly the door got locked from outside and they can't open it. In the mean time they saw at the corner of their room a girl was sitting and shrieking with a raucous and creepy voice with her head down.She wore a white frok. Mr.Thomson in a shivering voice asked her "Hey!Who are you? and what are you doing here?" The girl stopped crying and put her head up and glanced at them, her eyes were red and full of tears and her head was full of blood coming out. Suddenly the girl screamed loudly and at a glance the lights turned off.
