"Milady, there is an invitation from the palace."

"Burn it," Scarlet said to Florence. She had no interest in whatever the two fools in the palace were planning.

Florence was hesitant since it wasn't like Scarlet to throw away something from the palace without reading it first. It was strange that with the princess living here, Alana did not get an invitation sent to her. "Of course. I will return when it is time for dinner. Shall I take Sunny?"

"Leave her," Scarlet answered as she liked the presence of someone else in the room. It didn't matter that someone else was more interested in lying around. 

Florence quietly left to let Scarlet finish up her work so she would be ready for dinner. 

When the door closed, Scarlet sighed. She had a slight headache from all the work she had to clean up.
