Taken aback, Jean turned around and saw a smiling Alas. His boy-next-door dimples reminded her of fairy tales when a princess was swept off her feet by her prince charming in white shining armor and on a white horse.

Utter delight bloomed in Jean's chest. Her smile was as wide as it could ever be, and she went willingly into Alas' wide open arms.

Jean looked up at Alas. "I didn't expect to see you here, Alas. Who's with you?"

"I'm with Ray and Frankie. I don't think Frankie wants to stick around though. How about you? Are you with McQueen?" He took hold of her hand, and the two of them started walking.
