I plastered on my fakest smile, the one I reserved for truly incompetent people, and turned around. "Holden and Ivanna, a truer mating was never seen." I let an edge of threat slip into my voice.

Holden's eyes narrowed and I narrowed mine in return. There is one thing I never shared about my time as Jace's prisoner. I couldn't bring myself to tell everyone about Ethan's parents.
