Chapter 2- The scourge of the Immortal Realm is gone!

"What are you stopping for?" Bai Lianhua looked at their stunned state and spoke as if the anomaly was a trivial matter.

Bai Lianhua's sudden question snapped their senses. They resumed their walk in the fastest pace. How could they forget that there was still the Little Ancestor? They immediately put their curiosity at the back of their minds.

Bai Lianhua watched them doing their jobs perfectly.

After several minutes the group entered a huge pool. The surface of the pool created unfamiliar images of the scenes in the Mortal Realm.

Bai Lianhua watched them in fascination. Her curiosity of the Mortal World grew. "So this is the Mortal Realm? What kind of monsters is living here? How come I don't see any? What am I tying then?"

The surrounding people watched her spout dumb questions near the pool and were perplexed about her knowledge of the Mortal World, but nonetheless the Jade Emperor had promised them raise and promotion if they did the job well.

"Divine Immortal, the Moon Immortal's job is to tie red strings on fated lovers. The Jade Emperor decreed Divine Immortal to be Moon Immortal's representative in the Mortal Realm." Just after he said that, he saw Bai Lianhua walked towards a different direction.

"I rather go to the Chaos Void." She said while casually nibbling on a piece of thousand year old ginseng. Bai Lianhua's land hasn't grown a single herb, so the ginseng must probably stole somewhere else. As for the owner, he must be searching his all for the precious herb that was stolen by this brat.

The Moon Immortal watched Bai Lianhua gnawing on the Jade Emperor's precious herb on the Fate's Mirror. He seemed to remember the Jade Emperor's furious state when he found out that one of the guiding herb the Immortal physician asked had gone missing. Who knew it was in the hands of this brat. He closed his eyes and massaged his aching head. Ever since this brat was born from the Immortal veins in the Lotus pond, she had been causing trouble.

'She must be sent into the Mortal Realm!' This decision was supported by the majority of the Divine Immortals.

Fate Immortal put down his mirror and waved his hand to form a pathway to where Bai Lianhua was. It seemed he needed to intervene for it to be a success.

"Lianhua!" Fate Immortal smiled and called out sweetly to the girl happily munching on some immortal fruits. The divine scroll was used as a piece of rag for her to sit on. A piece of precious ginseng was tossed in the corner after the girl had sucked all of its immortal essence. Fate Immortal had an urged to beat her up.

"Old Fate!" Bai Lianhua called out.

Fate Immortal twitched his lips at the title. Old Fate? He restrained his anger and still happily chatted at her albeit his hands had already clenched and some ominous aura had spurted out of his form. Be patient!

The rest of the immortal and guards had seen Fate Immortal appeared out of nowhere and their morale had boost, but who would expect that they will hear the Divine Immortal called the exalted Fate Immortal as 'old'. They heard the sound of something grinding and an ominous air burst forth from Fate Immortal's being filling the mortal realm passage a dreadful atmosphere.

Shiver-

No one besides the Divine Immortal called Fate Immortal 'Old Fate'.

"Lianhua, why aren't you going towards the Mortal Realm? The Jade Emperor already prepared your mortal body." The Fate Immortal's kindly visage along with some glowing halo formed around his face in contrast with the ravaging energy he released earlier.

"Not Interested! Chaos Void should have some vacancy at the moment! Old Fate, help me get there!" Bai Lianhua remained oblivious to the Fate Immortal's murderous intention. After taking a few steps, she remembered that she seemed to forget the way to the chaos void so she waited until Old Fate arrived to ask for the directions.

A vein popped on Fate Immortal's forehead. 'What chaos void? That zone was turned into a deserted place by this brat. The leader of the monster had called a truce after she was sent there once for picking all the divine peaches.'

There's no other choice, it's down to the last resort!

"Lianhua, Uncle Fate had someone to fetch some snacks from the Mortal Realm, but who knew he was unable to find his way. Could you help Uncle Fate retrieve the snacks?" Fate Immortal said while twisting finger in his back.

The guards eavesdropping on their conversation heard Fate Immortal making up some lies and helped in echoing his words to persuade the Divine Immortal.

"Yes, only Divine Immortal could help with this task."

"Divine Immortal, this one tasted Fate Immortal's snacks, they were very delicious. Roasted pork knuckles, crab legs, poached pears, stir fried fish with pomegranate sauce…" Someone took out a cookbook from his personal storage bag and shared the information on the rest.

Bai Lianhua heard them described each dish with great details and not long after, a long streak of saliva flowed out from her mouth. She packed up the remaining immortal peaches and stood up wiping the traces of her drool. "Where is he? This Divine Immortal will help him ascend."

As if the heavens showered the place with light, all the people inside were filled with glee, joy and happiness, they could see some petals of flowers dancing on the air.

The Fate Immortal inwardly rejoiced. He signalled the other to make way for Bai Lianhua.

Bai Lianhua went back to the jade pool reflecting images of the Mortal Realm. She disregarded the images, and overlapped the pictures of the dishes the guards and apprentices had described. She didn't see the foreboding figure of Fate Immortal approaching her back.

She was still immersed in imagining some gluttonous fantasies when the fate Immortal repositioned himself at her back. He lifted his legs and used all his strength into kicking the person to the jade pool.

Bai Lianhua's immortal body was sinking in the pool. By the time the water had reached her head, she caught a glimpse of relief in everyone's faces. Some had even waved their handkerchiefs giving her their blessings, while Fate Immortal's expression was the most joyful in the bunch for he finally got rid of the scourge!
