Fragmentation

A slash with his blade was all that was needed to completely knock the man down. A large gash was left across his chest and his body simply wasn't strong enough to handle such a deep slash that had gone through so many organs.

The last man in the street had been defeated and just like that, Maplepoint had been freed from the tyranny of 1-X.

"Did you free us?" A man asked, as he daringly entered the streets once again.

"We did." Arachnid replied politely, which caused even more people to enter the streets from the comfort of their own homes.

They weren't making much noise but the truth was that they were utterly frightened by the battle occurring in the streets. They had no clue who was actually fighting 1-X and they weren't even sure if they were on their side.

Also, there wasn't a 100% guarantee that they were going to win and who knows what 1-X would've thought of the villagers if an entire military force was sent to face them.
