64 Tch… I missed...

The forest ground was bumpy and full of obstacles as Feng Xi, Prince Jin and the rest pushed Feng Shun on his gurney. They could already hear off in the distance the sounds of off-road vehicles making their way towards them. Feng Xi was very scared, right now they were like sitting ducks. She was scared for herself, her father, the man she loved, and those who work for her. As she thought about a small bit of determination welled up within her as she suddenly said: "Jin'er, if things get out of hand just hand me and my father over to them. I would rather die knowing that you and everyone else is safe than to let you all come to harm because of us."

"Xi'er shut up!" Prince Jin yelled out, causing Feng Xi a start. It was the first time that Prince Jin had ever yelled at her like that and the look he was giving her was as if he was going to rip her head off. She could tell her words made him angry but what was she supposed to do. Sit and watch all those she cared about, die?

"Jin'er I..." Feng Xi did not get to even finish what she wanted to say when Prince Jin interrupted her.

"Xi'er you just need to shut up and let this Prince protect you! I will be your shield. Out of everyone here you need to live the most. If you die no matter if I could escape or not I will die alongside you. If you are alive then that means I am alive as well! By saying what you just said is the same as cursing your man to die!" Prince Jin shouted. He did not care how Feng Xi looked at him, he made his decision and that was final. She died, he died!

"Boss, you know if we were to leave you and your father behind and returned safely, Mo Luixian would kill us as soon as we returned, so you are just sending us to our deaths. To be honest Boss, I might be old but I still have a few years left in me, so could you not sign my death certificate so soon?" Gu Chao added in.

Feng Xi did not know whether to laugh or cry. How was it that her wanting to keep everyone alive turned into her signing everyone's death certificates before they even died? Feng Xi could only lower her head and said: "Sorry..."

"Xi'er, I know you want us all to survive, but if we survive so do you. I will not allow the woman I love to die without putting up a fight first!" Prince Jin said softly.

Feng Xi had tears welling up in her eyes as they ran. They had gone almost two kilometers leaving only four more to go. But the sounds of what seemed to be dirt bikes and what also sounded like all terrain vehicles were almost upon them.

Sweat dripped from Feng Xi's chin, the continuous running was really starting to take a toll. But this forest had no place to hide to even try to get a momentary rest. They continued forward as their speed slowed down. It wasn't just Feng Xi who was getting tired but the rest as well. But with the looming enemies approaching they could not stop.

That was when they heard it, the first shot from a gun rang through the air. Feng Xi turned her head only to feel the air of a bullet whizz by her head, she had only turned her head to look behind her. If she had not done so she would have been instantly dead. Feng Xi's face paled and she almost lost her footing. It was the first time she had ever been shot at in her entire two lives. She did not want to die. Not a second time. Not after finding the man she loved. That treated her with so much care and love in return.

She pulled out her pistol and looked at the man who brazenly stood out in the open with his sniper rifle, aimed and fired. The bullet whizzed through the air right at the man with the sniper rifle catching the man off guard. He did not expect that the little girl would pull out a gun and shoot so quickly. As he looked down the lens of his scope getting ready to fire another shot all he saw was a small object becoming bigger and bigger until he saw nothing at all. The sniper rifle dropped from the man's hands as his body slumped to the ground. A gush of blood poured from the man's eye. Feng Xi shot went through the man's scope into his eye and out the backside of his head penetrating his brain.

"Oh! Boss nice shot!" Qiu Bi yelled out.

"Nice shot my ass, I almost died!" Feng Xi yelled back. She was still shaking, she was centimeters away from having lost her life once again. This scared her to the deepest reaches of her soul.

"Let's go! Before more show up." Prince Jin order.

"Prince Jin you may leave but this bitch is going nowhere!" Everyone looked up at where the voice was coming from to see at least ten people standing before them. "Feng Xi! Today is the day you will meet your death. But before that, these men here will be teaching the pleasures of being a woman."

The voice that was speaking was a very familiar voice to Feng Xi. Feng Lan, who had run away from Heavens Fall Academy was standing before them with a pistol in her hands. Feng Xi sneered seeing Feng Lan. Not wasting any words, she raised her pistol and fired two shots. Feng Lan did not expect Feng Xi to be so decisive and tried to dodge but was still hit in her shoulder. She let out a pitiful scream of pain and glared at Feng Xi as she held onto her shoulder. Her eyes were completely bloodshot as she screamed out like a maniac. "Kill her! Fuckign kill her! You can r*pe her body once she's dead!"

Feng Xi looked at the bloody wound on Feng Lan's arm and clicked her tongue. "Tch… I missed..."
