1 Prologue

Ryan Taylor was exhausted, he just got out in a 12-hour shift and currently was laying down to take a nap. He works as a data entry clerk in Japan and regretted it. He moved to Japan several years ago to experience the culture, but now he's stuck in a dead-end job. He doesn't have that many close friends and his family don't care about him. As for his dating life, it was merely a joke because he was too socially awkward to talk to girls. The only thing that kept him going is Anime and Manga.

Right now he wants to catch a few z's so he could have more energy to work tomorrow. As he was taking a nap, He died.

Ryan woke up and saw a dark, empty void. He is confused and scared.

Ryan: Huh? What the- okay where am I?!

???: My child, what are you doing here?

Ryan: Who are you? and Where am I?

???: I am called the supreme being or as your people call me "God". You currently are in the purgatory void. May I ask you, how did get in here? You should be in the Judgment place.

Ryan: I don't know, but I remember taking a nap after work. How did I die?

God: Let me see. hmm….. Ah, it seems that you have died of a heart attack caused by stress. You should've not overworking yourself.

Ryan: So, what do I do now?

God: You could either go to heaven, reincarnate back to earth randomly or be reincarnated in another world. Which one do you choose?

Ryan: I choose to be reincarnated in another world. Excuse me, God, Will I keep my memories and also will I choose the world I go to?

God: Yes, you can keep your memory. Also no, I will get to decide which world to go to, but don't worry I'll make sure it is something you enjoy.

Ryan: How would you decide for me to go?

God: by a spinning wheel. On a side note, you get two wishes after the decision was decided.

Ryan: Ah, a spinning wheel, how cliched.

The large golden wheel spun for roughly a few minutes until the pointer landed in the word "Anime/Manga World".

God: oh, you're so lucky, you've got a somewhat composed world. Moreover, the name is a bit misleading because it is not all anime or manga. It might include some other media like Manhwa or Graphic novels. In addition to this, the world doesn't have a strong supernatural element, so you will be mostly safe.

Ryan: Cool, I don't know what would happen if there were like shounen action things like "Bleach" or worse "Dragon ball" I doubt I would want to live in that world.

God: Pardon me, what are your wishes?

Ryan: Sorry to intrude, but are there limitations?

God: Ah, yes there is, No godhood or immortality, No overpowered system only just the basic stat/small inventory one, and no overpowered power-ups. I hope you realize the implications as all of those would break the balance of the multiverse. Goodness knows how long I had to fix it multiple times.

Ryan: Good to know.

God: I hope I answered all your questions because I don't have any more time. Otherwise, what are your wishes?

Ryan: I wish to have a basic stat system with the ability to have quests and rewards. I know that it might be too much, but you can just balance it out on varying difficulties. I also want to have a reasonably sized inventory.

God: Approved. What is the last one?

Ryan: I want to have Quick learning comprehension with a photographic memory. I hope you can accept it.

God: I could accomplish that, but the best I could do is to make it have a similar level to prodigies and borderline super-geniuses. As for the Photographic Memory, I can achieve that easily.

Ryan: Thank you for giving me a chance to live again.

God: No problem, and good luck in your new world.

With that Ryan reincarnated, no longer he was Ryan Taylor. He is now a person who lives his life to its fullest.
