25 Peace Treaty Conference

'Ascalon was supposed to be with Issei.' I thought with a confused frown at the sudden change of events, 'Did Michael change his decision in favour of having a better standing with me? After all, I am the Maou's son and Irina has devoted herself as my Knight.'

I looked at Irina and saw her explaining Xenovia about the meeting that occurred at the Himejima Shrine.

"So Brave Saints, huh." Xenovia frowned with a calculative gaze, "I have a bad feeling about this."

"Bad feeling?" Irina got agitated by the statement, "What's bad about it? Michael-sama has approved the decision we have made for ourselves."

"It's not that." Xenovia sighed and shook her head, "Call it my intuition."

"Whatever it is, everything will be alright." I assured her with a nonchalant shrug, "Honestly, you think a lot, Xenovia."

"That's how I am." Xenovia shot me a prideful smirk.

"We should head to the Conference now." Akeno reminded the group, "It's about time now and most of ours are already present there."

"Hm." Grayfia nodded in agreement with Rias' Queen and stood up, "If you're feeling pressured, don't." Grayfia looked at Irina and Xenovia, "You both have made your decisions and no one is going to force you."

"Force would be a big word." Irina smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of her neck.

"We appreciate the support, Grayfia-san." Xenovia stood up and nodded in acknowledgment.

"Let's leave then." I stood up as well and we gathered into the Teleportation circle created by Grayfia.

When we teleported to the other side, I saw that we were at the Old School Building and instantly detected the several powerhouses of each respective Faction present in the room. Not only that, there were several low-class Devil, Angel and Fallen Angel soldiers sanctioned around the School campus as well.

"So that's your son, Sirzechs." Azazel, the leader of Fallen Angel smiled at me and faced Sirzechs, who was sitting on his opposite side of the round table.

"S-Sister Quarta." Xenovia stuttered with her eyes going wide and I saw her staring at a particular woman, who was standing behind the Two Great Seraphs.

The woman wore an Exorcist's robe and gave off the Holy signature of an Angel, so I figured she was one of the Brave Saints.

"Wait, Quarta?" I realised that they had the same last names.

"Griselda Quarta." Irina informed me in a low voice, "She is Xenovia's adoptive mother and used to be our Swordmaster." Irina exhaled a heavy breath, "I guess your intuition was correct, Xenovia."

"A-Are you..?" One of the Great Seraph, a beautiful, innocent looking woman with light golden blond hair, stood up and was about to rush at me, but Michael the Archangel held her back on time.

"We'll have time after the meeting, Gabriel." He stated with a small smile and Gabriel pouted cutely before sitting back on her chair.

'Wait, what does she have to do with me?' I looked at her in astonishment and scanned the whole room.

'Divine Dividing, so that must be Vali.' I noted the presence of the Silver Gray haired man, 'Then that guy.' I looked at the one standing behind Michael with a goofy expression and staring at me.

"Curious?" He asked me with a friendly smile.

"A little." I admitted with a nonchalant shrug and conjured myself a chair next to Sirzechs, before sitting down on the table.

I noticed that the room's atmosphere was quiet all of a sudden, "What?" I frowned when I noticed them staring at me.

"This is table for the leaders of the Three Great Factions, you brat." Serafall replied with an irritated twitch on her eyebrows.

"You want me to keep standing then?" I questioned with an raised eyebrow and leaned back on my chair with a cocky grin, "Make me move."

"Oh?" I saw Vali giving me an intense stare with his fists clenched in excitement.

The guy was rearing to go at it and I wondered if he was stupid enough to challenge me into a duel, when the leaders here were in the process of making peace.

Azazel warned him with a stern glare and meaningfully shook his head.

Vali clicked his tongue in disappointment and looked away from me.

"Rias and Sona should be here with thier reports any moment now." Grayfia announced to everyone as she stood behind Sirzechs' as his Queen.

Irina and Xenovia followed her gesture and stood behind me as well. Where else, Akeno had left the room in search for her King.

"So, how old are you?" Azazel turned to me curiously.

"Sixteen." I answered with a straight face, "You must be Azazel, the idiot who cannot watch over his subordinates."

Serafall gasped and gave me a sharp glare for dissing him right away.

Although, instead of taking offense to my question, Azazel simply laughed in amusement and nodded at me, "Yes, that would be me."

"I am Michael, the Archangel and Leader of the Heavenly Faction." Michael introduced himself with a small smile and gestured at his companions, "This is my younger sister, Gabriel, one of the Four Great Seraphs. Standing behind her is her Queen Griselda Quarta, and this is my Joker, Dulio Gesualdo."

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Griselda nodded at me with a polite smile, "Xenovia and Irina have told me a lot about you in their reports during the mission. I am also thankful to you for saving their lives."

"Yeah." I nodded in response as I didn't know what else to say, "My name's Alexander Kitagawa."

"Not Gremory?" Dulio gave me an astonished look.

"I was born as Alexander Kitagawa, not Gremory." I replied as a matter of fact.

"They are here." Akeno entered through the door and informed the room.

Rias and Sona walked in together with thier Peerage following after them in a line. I noted that Koneko and Gasper, who was Rias' newly acquired bishop, were not present in the room.

Rias and Sona introduced themselves and their Peerage members before they proceeded with thier reports of the Incident, which had occurred exactly a week ago.

They recounted the events from the beginning, when they had first made contact with the Exorcists sent by the Church, at my house; to the events that led them to the day of Kokabiel's attack on the town.

To be honest, I was a little flustered when Sona started reciting about how I made an Heroic entrance by punching Kokabiel in the face and then later defeated him with the use of my Holy Longinus, Incernate Anthem.

"The events match the reports that we have received." Michael stated with a nod, once Sona and Rias were done.

"There's one off the mark in mine." Azazel said and grabbed everyone's attention, "According to my reports, Alexander had used the combined powers of Destruction and Holy Longinus."

"That's correct." I nodded in confirmation, "The reason I did it was because Holy Longinus alone wouldn't have been able to give him a quick death. Where else, the sole use of Destruction would've caused more damage to our surroundings if he had tried to fight back."

"You're a creative one." Azazel nodded in acknowledgment and gave me an impressed smirk.

"Are we going to ignore the actions made by one of your Generals?" Serafall brought us back on the topic and frowned at the Governor General.

"He moved on his own." Azazel answered with a nonchalant smile, "That's why he allied himself with Valper Galelie and a Stray Exorcist to carry out his plan, instead of getting support from the other Fallen Angels."

"Stray Exorcists are similar to Stray Devils, we cannot control them." Michael stated defensively, because he understood Azazel was trying to share a part of the blame on thier side.

"Alright." Azazel raised his hands in surrender and sighed, "As compensation, I will give your sister's pawn the remaining four Sacred Gear made out of Vritra's soul. He would be the first host in all generations to awaken the consciousness and complete form of the Cursed Dragon Vritra."

Saji's eyes went wide in astonishment, because the boy probably didn't even know about the four other Vritra Gears.

Sona was tempted by the offer, because it would certainly make her Peerage way more stronger and bring it on par with Rias' Peerage.

"What do you say?" Serafall had made her decision, but she wanted to know Sirzechs' opinion.

"What are you planning, Azazel?" Sirzechs asked seriously by turning to the Governor General of Grigori.

"To be honest, I am trying to establish a peaceful relationship here." Azazel answered with a smirk, "Like how you shared your formula with the Heavens in order for them to create their own version of Evil peices, I am offering you these four sacred gears as a way of showing peace from my side."

"If you are concerned about the other leaders, then don't worry." Azazel waved off casually, "Shemhazai and Baraqiel have both trusted me with their decisions. We, the Grigori, want to set aside our differences and move towards a peaceful future."

"So let's hurry up and make peace." He laughed at the end of his speech, "Isn't that why we are all here?"

"That's correct." Michael nodded in agreement and looked towards Sirzechs and Serafall.

"Our Factions were almost brought to extinction during the Old War." Sirzechs stated thoughtfully and gravely looked at the leaders present before him, "While Devil Race is not currently united under the same banner, the New Satan Faction wants peace."

"You're talking about Khaos Brigade." Azazel pointed out in realisation, and the ones who heard the name for the first time were confused and curious.

"Yes." Sirzechs nodded in agreement, "Its a terrorist group that has allied themselves with the Old Satan Faction."

"They had tried to attack Ajuka's lab a couple of weeks ago and that was a regretful decision for them." Serafall informed, "According to what Ajuka had heard before wiping them out, they wanted the formula to create their own Evil peices."

"In the wrong hands, it could spell disaster." Michael stated in disbelief.

"That's correct." Sirzechs nodded in agreement, "Fortunately for us, the formula is exclusive to Ajuka Beelzebub and cannot be used without his permission."

'The creation of Evil peices must have something do with his powers then.' I figured and noticed that Azazel was giving me a creepy smile, probably because he knew we had realised the same thing.

"Whatever." I snorted and ignorantly looked away, 'It's not my problem.'

"In that case, everyone can rest assured for now." Michael nodded in acknowledgment to Sirzechs' statement, "Can we get to our concern now?"

"The Holy Swords." Serafall nodded and everyone in the room turned to look at me.

"This one is yours." Sirzechs patted my shoulder in support.

I sighed and nodded in response, "What do you want to know about them?" I asked Michael.

"Let's start with the Excalibur Ruler." Michael nodded at me with a serious expression, "Where did you find the sword?"

"Inside my soul." I answered nonchalantly and explained further, "Similar to how some humans are born with Sacred Gears, I was born with an 6th dimensional Holy Scabbard attached to my soul."

"Inside that Scabbard, you found Avalon." Griselda stated in realisation and I nodded at her.

"That's never heard of." Azazel remarked and curiously leaned forward on the table, "Is Excalibur Ruler a Sacred Gear now?"

"I wouldn't say so, because I also have the Holy Longinus-"

"If I am not wrong, the Holy Fire can change its host on its own consciousness." Azazel interrupted me and looked at Michael for confirmation.

"Correct." Michael wisely nodded his head.

"No, Excalibur Ruler is not a Sacred Gear." I stated in a final tone and shot Azazel an annoyed glare, "And its the Scabbard, Avalon I was talking about."

"Avalon." Gabriel gasped with her eyes going wide in disbelief and she immediately turned to her brother, "I have heard about it from Father! I can't remember it when, but I have!"

Michael and the other people in the room were stupefied for a moment, "What did he say?" He asked curiously.

"Something related to the System." Gabriel answered anxiously, "It was even before the Devils and Fallen Angels came into existence, so I don't remember the exact words he spoke."

Michael turned to me with an intense stare, "He could possibly be the reincarnation of Father then."

"See?!" Irina cheered and looked at Xenovia, but immediately realised how loud she was.

The room's atmosphere was eerily quiet and I could even feel their stares on the back of my neck, "No, you idiots." I growled with an flustered expression, "I am not God's reincarnation or anything, because I would rather become an librarian than a God!"

"It's alright." Sirzechs took a deep breath and patted my shoulder again.

"It's rather complex, it seems." Azazel turned to Michael with an meaningful expression.

"We can think about it at a later time." Michael sighed and nodded in agreement, "So, where are the swords now, Alexander?" He questioned me.

Although, instead of answering him, I preferred saving them from the blast that exploded under our arses.

We floated inside the extended barrier of my Limitless, while the entire Old School building was razed down to the ground.

Everyone turned to look at me in astonishment, while I looked at the one responsible for the attack. Unfortunately, it wasn't one, but an entire army of Devils and their two leaders staring down at us.

"The Khaos Brigade." Sirzechs seriously narrowed his eyes, when he noticed the descendants from the Old Satan Faction in the group.

Fortunately, Koneko and Gasper were in the Club room of the same building, so I was able to bring them in my barrier as well.

"The Conference has been infiltrated." I stated and teleported everyone to the School grounds.

"There are more coming through the portals." Xenovia pointed out to the huge magical circle in the sky.

"Katarea." Serafall frowned when she looked at the Dark skinned Devil, the descendant of the True Leviathan.

"Creuserey Asmodeus." Sirzechs glared at the Devil standing next to Katarea, "What's the meaning behind this attack?"

"We heard there's a party going on." Katarea chuckled in response with a cocky grin, "We thought we should invite ourselves in."

"Hand us over your son and there won't be any bloodshed, Sirzechs." Creuserey warned with a threatening glare.

Suddenly, the Sky was covered in a Crimson Aura as Sirzechs stepped ahead with a blank expression on his face, "You're right, Asmodeus." He chuckled sinisterly, "I won't even let a drop of your blood escape from me."

"Nii-sama!" Rias called out anxiously and was about to rush towards him, but I grabbed her waist and held her back.

"What are you doing, Alex?!" Rias yelled at my face.

"Trying to save you from getting yourself killed." I stated blatantly with a frustrated smile and glanced at the sky.

Rias curiously followed my gaze and saw Crimson droplets of water falling down from the Sky. Except, they weren't water, but magical bullets with Immense power of Destruction.

"The school." Sona realised with a horrified expression.

"You idiot..!" I grumbled irritatedly and placed my palm on the ground, to create a counterspell to his magic with my own power of Destruction, otherwise, more than half of the school's area would've been leveled to ground zero.

~

Sirzechs didn't care. He relished in the feeling of destruction with a satisfied smile and watched his enemies die before his eyes. The rain of Destructive bullets poured down and consumed them all.

Although, to his surprise, he saw Katarea being protected by his magic through a counterspell created by the Power of Destruction that was not his own. There was no chance that Rias could have such mastery over the power so soon, so he turned around to see his son effortlessly keeping the counterspell active.

~

"You really want us to have no survivors for interrogation?" I reprimanded irritatedly when I saw the moron tilting his head at me.

"Oh." Sirzechs got out his daze and realised what was happening, "Yeah, you're right." He nodded in agreement and stopped his magic, because the others were already dead beyond ashes.

"S-So that's the power of the Strongest Maou." Xenovia stuttered in disbelief and broke the silence held in the group.

"He's Strong." Griselda nodded in agreement with her daughter, "But his son." She was bewildered, since nobody from thier group had expected him to hold such immense powers at this young age, "He's fearsome."

I stood up and saw Vali approaching me with an emotionless look on his face, "Fight me."

"Huh?" Sirzechs snapped again and I stopped the blast of Destruction, right before it exploded against Vali's face.

"It's fine." I took a deep breath as I stood straight and looked back at Sirzechs with a small smile, "He's weak, after all."

Vali's eyes were gaping at me in disbelief and then, he pounced to the sky at an extraordinary speed and expanded his four pair of Devil Wings to levitate in the sky.

"My name is Vali Lucifer." He declared by looking down at me, "I am the True Descendant of Maou Lucifer and Host of the Longinus, Divine Dividing Gear." He activated the Balance Breaker of the White Dragon Emperor to prove his point.

The people who didn't know about Vali were staggered by the revelation of his true Identity.

Azazel palmed his face with an exasperated sigh and stepped forward to face his son, "What the hell do you think you're doing, Vali?"

"Yeah, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Asked a voice that appeared right behind him out of nowhere and astounded everyone by her presence.

"Ophis.. I.." Vali tried to reason, but he was pummelled down to the ground by a single punch of the small girl.

The impact of the punch was so strong that Vali's balance breaker was destroyed into Mana particles, even before he made contact against the Earth.

A large crater was created in the middle of school campus, where Vali laid out of commission and gravely injured.

"Ophis!" Irina cheered excitedly and cheerfully waved her hand at the girl.

Irina was so innocent that I couldn't help but slap the front of my face. Because the moment Irina called out to the Ouroboros Dragon in the way she did, she attracted everyone's attention from the group.

"Alex?" Xenovia turned to me with an exasperated frown, "Who exactly is Ophis?"

"Ophis, the Ouroboros Dragon." Azazel answered for me and inhaled a deep breath to calm his nerves, "She's the Infinity Dragon and one of the beings that possesses the Power to destroy the world."

"Azazel." Ophis nodded at the Fallen Angel when she heard him give the unwanted introduction. She came down to crater and picked up the unconscious Vali out of it, "I'll be taking him away."

"Don't tell me." Azazel frowned in disbelief.

"He's a part of my group, the Khaos Brigade." Ophis nodded in response, "I had warned him not to challenge Alex."

"You know her?" Grayfia turned to me with a questioning scowl.

"Do I?" I nervously looked away.

I saw two more people appear behind Ophis through a Portal and one of them took the unconscious Vali from her, "You've made a mess of him." Bikou chuckled fearfully as he looked at Vali's miserable condition and carried him in his both arms.

"We apologise for the trouble he has caused." Arthur looked straight at me and bowed his head, "We of the Khaos Brigade do not wish to be your enemy."

"The others." Bikou looked at the leaders of the Three Faction and laughed at them, "Let's just say we are not exactly your buddies!"

Before I could ask what was happening, Ophis disappeared into the Portal and others went back as well.

'What the hell is going on?' I frowned thoughtfully and noticed that the others were giving me the doubtful gaze, "Let's continue this meeting someplace else." I suggested and teleported all of them to the living room of my house.

"Would you stop doing that?" Rias whined as she landed with her butt cheeks on the floor.

"Was it intentional?" Irina thought aloud with a doubtful gaze.

"It looks intentional." Xenovia nodded firmly and glared at me, "You have a lot to tell us."

"You do." Michael nodded and I saw the entire group staring at me in unison.

"Bullies." I snorted in response and grabbed myself a seat on the couch.
