1 Chapter 1 - Mission-

PART 1

(Paradise Headquarters)

"So this would be heaven?"

"As I have already explained to you, yes ... this is heaven."

"it's a little different from what I imagined."

"You're not the first to point this out to us."

In what looked like a military barracks a boy of about 17 sat in the middle of a huge hall.

He wasn't tied up but he couldn't move anyway.

In front of him about fifteen people dressed in military uniforms were working on large piles of papers.

The only woman of them was instead committed to welcoming the boy. She too was dressed in formal clothes, but her straight posture and authoritative gaze made it clear her position among others.

On their uniform, more precisely in the upper part of the right arm, there was a blue coat of arms with written in a circular way: "Forces of defense of the divine skies."

A name that united both the military and the secular part considered a blasphemy in his world.

As far as he remembered the boy had not lost his life but had only been interrupted while he was working.

And the people in front of him had interrupted him.

They had claimed several times to be "Gods" but the boy did not find any difference in their appearance from normal military officers.

As stated earlier the only person who was calculating it was the woman in front of him.

Her name was Lay and he was one of the four commanders of the Defense Forces ... ok it seems long to say so it will be shortened to F.C.D.

Even if it was not quite a "normal" situation, the young Hachirou was not at all upset.

The harsh education received from his parents had benefited his behavior and therefore even in difficult situations his gaze remained impassive.

"Excuse me if I keep interrupting you but could you get to the point? I have work to finish at the estate."

"You are just as described by the documents ..."

At the boy's behavior, the commander released something that an officer of that rank should never have released.

But the young man, perhaps not considering the issue of personal documents important, ignored the statement and continued to stare at the woman with an impatient look.

The woman sighed and after a short pause began to speak.

"We need your help on a mission."

"Mission?"

"You will have to save a world that is doomed to destruction ..."

At those words all the remaining fourteen people who were working took on a troubled expression.

PART 2

A world was destined for destruction and it was up to Hachirou to save it.

With those words the air in the hall became heavy.

"An entity known to us by the name of [unknown] has taken 12 individuals from your world and donated them superior abilities ..."

"Where would the exit door be?"

Hachirou at those words, taken as a mockery, decided to go back to his work.

But as mentioned he could not move, even with repeated movements his body was trapped on the wooden chair.

The woman ignoring him continued where she left off.

"... its goal is still unknown to us but one thing is certain ... if we don't stop these people the balance of the world 37 will be ruined ..."

Forced to stay, Hachirou began asking him questions.

"World 37? I knew of the existence of other planets but not one like the earth ..."

"Let's say it's like the earth but in a more backward state and with the presence of unique elements ... like magic or fantastic creatures."

(Did I fall asleep over an isekai novel?)

The business was getting stranger and stranger and the boy didn't want to have anything to do with it.

"To conclude we F.C.D. need you to stop these individuals ... we expect a lot from you as a" solver ""

The woman picked up a sheet of paper and walked over to Hachirou.

"This is an official contract, with your signature the meeting will be concluded and you will be sent to the world 37."

"Wait I haven't accepted yet ... and I have no reason to accept. First, I don't see any profit for me to risk my life ... and even if it were how should I stop them? I remind you that I'm just a normal human, without anything special. "

"The remaining questions will be clarified by my student, or her new partner."

"Partner?"

"Plus you are obliged to sign the contract ..."

"Obliged?"

"Exactly ... because ... some of the people being taken are nothing less than your important acquaintances ..."

"Eh?"

Hachirou had been an orphan for 4 years. He had no one but the silly business ties.

This is why the woman's last words stuck in his memory.

(Someone ... I still have someone ...)
