Seven of disks

Somewhere in a dark room lit by candles.

A man was seated on a large chair decorated with jewels.

The large room was similar to a throne room in a palace.

The man had his face covered with a white veil that had patterns made of gold. He had some indigo coloured cards in his hands.

Many people wearing clothes, similar to white religious gowns and were bowing towards him with their faces and hands on the ground.

They were all sitting on the carpet on the floor.

There was complete silence in the room.

At that moment, the main door to the room opened and a man with a priest's attire and a mitre over his head entered the room.

He had his head slightly turned downwards as if he could not dare to look at the figure of the man sitting with a veil over his head.

The man walked over in this posture, to some distance on the path created between the bowing people.

He then clasped his hand, closed his eyes and knelt down on both knees.

He then started speaking as if he was praying to the man sitting in front of him.

"Oh your mighty lord! The greatest being of this universe, please have mercy on us and the ignorant creatures of this world. For they cannot ask for thy's forgiveness and blessings."

The man sitting on the highest place in the room, lifted his left palm and a blinding golden light shone down on the praying priest and the other people bowing towards him.

The people quietly accepted the blessings of their god and the priest lifted his head up in the direction of the light, his eyes were still closed.

After a few minutes, the light slowly recided back to the man's palm.

The priest then stood up and opened his eyes with his head down.

The 'mighty lord' started speaking at that moment.

His voice was really gentle and soothing to the ears and mind.

"What happened to the child?"

The priest started sweating and his face turned pale as he replied.

"Your greatness, we have received no news about the new child from that person. But it appears that the child has someone protecting him."

A priestess carried a beautiful plate with some documents in it to the white marble platform on which the chair was fixed.

The man looked over the information contained in the pages.

The man commented in a low voice after reading through the pages.

"Forged information. This child is destined to not have anyone by his side. He cannot have siblings. Even if someone tries to help him, they are bound to die."

The priest continued still with his head lowered.

"Yes, your greatness. Our sources have confirmed that this young man first made contact with the child, only a few months ago."

Both the priest and the man fell into silence as the man fell into deep thought.

After a few seconds, the man spoke up again in his gentle tone.

"Two bishops have failed to erase the existence of 'the child of the apocalypse'. This has never happened before."

The man's whole figure began illuminating with golden light.

He was using his divine powers as he picked a card from the deck in his right hand.

"The good Karma from his preceding lives must be interfering with the current situation."

He continued after looking at the card that he had chosen.

"Just keep watching the situation and the changes that happen around the child, for now."

He dismissed the people, and everyone slowly left the room with their heads bowed without looking at the man's figure.

However the priest was still standing there. For he knew that his mighty god, still had something to say.

The man crossed his legs and started speaking once there was no one except for the priest in the room.

"Send a message to the sky archbishop. Tell him to make preparations. He would be the one to take on this task next."

The high priest who was responsible was managing the followers and conducting prayers, himself had never met the archbishops.

He didn't know about their identities.

He would just send the message to the addresses that the temple's secret library contained.

However he knew that the archbishops' identities were a secret and they were referred by code names because they were powerful people.

He gulped inconspicuously because his god has never told him to contact the archbishops before this.

It meant that this time the 'child of the apocalypse' was a serious issue that could not be left with the lower priests and bishops.

Also, prior to this; his greatness has never told them to just watch.

Normally he would tell them to get rid of these children as soon as possible, as they were a curse for not only for the human race, but the whole world.

He bowed deeply, keeping his thoughts to himself.

"Yes, your greatness."

He left the room in a similar manner as he had entered, only this time he was walking backwards with his head lowered.

The man stood up from his chair, when everyone had left the room.

He had the power to predict the outcome of an event about to happen in the nearby future.

He could also see random visions of future, mostly subconsciously.

There were various limits to his powers.

His powers could only help him in identifying the 'children of the apocalypse' and reading their fate.

He couldn't predict what the outcome of their actions will be.

This time, he had predicted the outcome of the bishops going against the protector of the child.

The card in his hand reflected the candlelight.

It was the 'Seven of Disks'.
