• The Shadow That Blinds All

A dark flash burst in the atmosphere.

Visible tremors of force zapped through the air repeatedly as the corruption of [Impurity] took over. The dark energy coiled itself around the fallen bird, whilst surrounding the kneeling Bearer with a force shield of its presence.

Then, like the wisp of wind or a flash of light, Talon burst into the sky. He impetuously sped into the Cranebirds attacking from above, his body tearing through their forms like vengeful mini-arrows shot by a pistolet prodigy. There was no time for the wild birds to react, Talon was just way too fast, a dark smoke of shadow exuding behind him as he glided murderously.

Spheris wanted to celebrate his partner's return, but there was barely the time for it, and his emotion — irritated rage — was already fixed on something else.
