Some people does certainly need to be kept on bay. Even so Airi had no choice but to intervene ever so unwillingly.

She coughed once to have their attention.

There certainly was no reaction from the other side, Airi tried coughing for a second time.

Seconds ticked by and there was still no possible reaction from the other side whatsoever. As such she decided to persist for the third time.

Airi continued to proceed instead of feeling embarrassed for she thought only by taking Initiative can she attain positive results!

However, even before she could do so, two figures dashed over to her side, their faces laced with concern.

Overwhelmed by such a reaction Airi was quite shocked and knew not how to respond.

The notorious duo decided to burst her bubble and to do so they started throwing her questions at her one after another, each one related to her well being.

Jun Jie was way too much concerned and thus kept on checking her forehead and cheeks, occasionally placing his palms onto it. Mio'er with tears in his eyes kept on asking her, pulling onto her hands trying to gain her attention.

They were both freaking out upon thinking she was ill.

Otherwise...

Why would his mistress cough? And she had done so twice in a row !

Airi felt someone tugging onto her hands gently yet with urgency. It was soft and furry. Unconsciously, Airi grabbed hold onto one of those furry things and looked down towards it's direction.

The face appeared very familiar to her!

Mio'er felt extremely happy with his Mistress's attention drawn towards him.

Heh, he was the one his Mistress noticed first. Tsk...tsk... poor Immortal lord bet he's freaking out!

Excitedly he shouted, "Ahh Mistress! Mistress?... are you fine?"

Airi could now very well understand what was going on. But the way they both had reacted, had indeed startled her speechless!

Wasn't she the one trying to get their attention not the other way round?

She looked at both of them strangely. Without wasting much time, proposed a question rather impatiently.

"Are we getting out of this place any time soon? Is there perhaps a possibility in the near future? ", Airi glowered at both of them unpleasantly.

Listening to her question, Mio'er certainly felt they really needed to get moving for it was getting a bit too boring!

He also needed to whack that freak as well!

Mio'er didn't waste time and nodded profusely. He felt happy with just having got himself an opportunity to just nod at his mistress.

Not receiving any answer from the trouble maker who was supposedly the one at fault for he was the one who brought her here.

Airi turned to look at Jun Jie with furrowed brows.

Airi found the guy standing a few steps away from her deep in thought.

Don't tell me this guy still wants to stay here to cause more trouble? If it is the case I won't hesitate to thrash him down!

It was only Jun Jie who had a puzzling look on his face. Only after noticing an unhappy glare directed at him did he spoke up.

"We can... but how to? I seem to have forgotten the way. "

Forgotten... forgotten what?

Just how could someone forget his way back which he so arrogantly chose before!

Mio'er was stunned silly after listening in onto the stupid lord's declaration.

Airi had a look that screamed murder for she definitely could not take on anymore of the latter's gibberish!

As anger gradually took over her mind, she started feeling her vision all blurred up.

When suddenly, Airi seemed to have lost control of her senses with her body giving off vibes full of aggression which was quite a contradiction to her previous self. It was as if some hostile soul had possessed her whole being, incrementally clouding up all of her senses!

Everything about her now screamed violence. It was as if some recalcitrant devil had overthrown her inner self subduing her entire being!

Soon after, a figure dashed over to Jun Jie, grabbed onto his collar and pulled him close forcefully. Her face glowed evilly oozing with a seductive allure that Jun Jie was so familiar with.

" Ah! so...it isn't a waste! I see..."

A certain conspirative devil with a smug grin mumbled on with a pondering look, frowning occasionally as he looked down at the two non human entities, one wastrel of a lacky and another brainless veggie. He simply omitted the demon male lead and the reason remains unknown...

" Hehe...more fun to come! I can't just wait to spice things up. Perhaps this time I'll get the fish hooked, cooked and served on a platter. Woo such delicacy! " , the sinister devil smirked, his finely crafted face flashed a winning smile as he disappeared from the sight.

"Let the game begin!", were the last words left behind with a loud creepy laugh.
