The Gana soldiers

Next day

Isaac, April, and Finn are heading to where the Gana soldiers were hiding.

Finn: get ready we are almost there.

Three women riding horses sprinted toward us and stopped in front of us.

What are all of you doing here this is a dangerous area, one of the women said.

April: I am looking for the Gana soldiers.

Princess April, we thought you died the other woman said.

Isaac: can't we discuss this somewhere safer than the middle of nowhere.

What do you say, Eva, should we take them to the camp? One of the women asked another.

Eva: I say we take them there, but we should keep an eye on them.

Eva looked at me and said: hop on the horse.

Isaac, Finn, and April hopped on the back of the horses and they took off to the camp.

APRIL'S POV

We got to the camp and the three women took us to a tent.

"Where are they taking us?" I asked Finn.

Finn: just do as they say.

Eva looked at Isaac and said: hey handsome guy, give me your sword.

Isaac: what? Why me?

Eva: You are Isaac Mikaelson, the perfect soldier, you are the best soldier in all the four kingdoms; why do you think I want your sword?

"Is that necessary?", I asked.

Eva: no way you are meeting our leader with him having his sword.

Isaac: how about I cut off your head and then go for your leader's

The three women took out their blades and Isaac drew out his sword.

Isaac: that is not a fair fight.

One of the women: so give us your sword.

Eva: He meant it isn't fair for us.

I took a step between both of them.

All of you put down your weapons.

Eva: you are the people who are trying to kill us in our own home.

I interrupted her and said: No, you got us here in peace and we still don't know if we are safe here or not so we need protection, it is only fair for Isaac to have his sword, I believe you would understand that Eva.

Eva put her blades down and asked the other two women to put theirs down too.

A tall and very strong man walked towards us with a big scar over his face.

Eva: Charles, they want to talk to you, this is Princess...

Charles interrupted her and said: princess April, Finn and the one and only Isaac.

"Isaac, do you know him?" I asked.

Isaac: he was one of the people who wanted to be the Queen's guard and in our final test, I won fair and square, but he got jealous and tried to kill me, so I had to cut his face open.

Charles: you had to, ha? Very kind of you Isaac.

Isaac: I try not to be, but my name precedes me.

"Okay let us start fresh, we need soldiers to reclaim Gana," I said.

Charles: NO!! I want a rematch but this time anyone of you who can take me down I will accept to your terms little princess.

Isaac takes out his sword and mumbled: with pleasure.

I stopped Isaac and looked at Charles.

"Okay, Charles tomorrow morning I will fight you and if you take me down I will leave without bothering you, but if I win, you help us;" I said.

Isaac and Finn: WHAT?!

Charles looked at me and said: I will break you, little princess.

I smiled at him and he left.

Eva: Congratulations, you got yourself killed Princess.

Isaac looked at me and said: what are you thinking he is triple your size; oh wait no he is quadruple your size.

April: if they need a reason to follow me, they will have to know that I am willing to stick out my head with them.

Eva: you are a brave woman April, I give you that, but you can't take him out not on your own at least; anyway, Iris takes them to their tent.

Iris: follow me I will get you to your tent.

As we entered our tent and Iris left.

Isaac: What the hell, April?

Finn: she can't win Charles, he is way stronger than her.

"I can take him down," I said.

Isaac: no you can not take him down he is stronger.

"Look he might be stronger so all I need to do is be faster, you taught me that," I said.

Isaac: but…

"No but Isaac I believe I can win this fight and all I need you to do is believe in me too," I said.

Isaac: Okay, April I believe in you.

Finn: Well you will need to rest if you are going to fight him tomorrow.

I nodded and took off to rest.

Next morning.

April woke up and got out of her tent to find Charles right in front of her tent.

April: Charles?

Charles: Hope you are ready to get crashed.

Isaac was leaning to a tent with his arms crossed over each other and said: watch your back Charles, there are no rules preventing me from killing you before the fight.

Charles: I am just giving her a chance to drop out, and show my people how much of a coward you are.

April: your people really?

Charles: You Queens think you are better than us, why would we ever stand with you if we are going to do the fighting while you sit down on your throne.

Isaac grabbed his sword but he didn't draw it yet.

Isaac: I suggest you choose the rest of your words precisely or you won't be able to fight for the rest of your life.

Charles shot both of us a look and stormed away.

Finn: I asked about him and no one ever took him down except Isaac.

Isaac: not helping Finn

Finn: I think she should drop out, we won't be able to get Gana back if she loses.

April: Maybe you are right Finn I should drop out.

Isaac: oh no he is not, you are going to fight him and you are going to win.

April: I thought you wanted me to drop too.

Isaac: I did but then I realized I was wrong.

Finn: Isaac, I think we should talk this through first.

Isaac: thank you Finn I will take it from here.

Isaac: Look, April if I know anything about Charles is that he fights dirty, the only way to win is either to kill him or make sure he can't stand up anymore, and one of his weaknesses is his side.

April: you look so hot giving me advice about how to win.

Isaac: oh yeah you will look way hotter when you win this.

April kissed Isaac's cheek and said: thank you, Isaac.

Isaac: for what?

April gave Isaac a warm smile and replied: for everything.

Finn: since there is no talking you out and Isaac is not with me on this, I hope you win this.

April: Thanks, Finn.

A few hours later it was time for the fight.

All the soldiers gathered in a huge circle with only April and Charles in the middle.

Charles: ready to break little princess.

April: little do you know I can win you with no effort.

Charles laughed and said: really what makes you think that?

April: I mean Isaac won you and put a sign on your face and set you as an example to anyone who opposes him, and you are jealous of the fact that he got to be the guard of the Queen, and then my guard, while you were trying to travel back in time and have a rematch with him.

Charles: that is not true.

April: really? Your face says otherwise, oh wait that is just the scar that Isaac gave you.

Charles: I WILL KILL YOU!!

Charles dashed at April but she dodged.

Finn to Isaac: is she trying to get herself killed?

Isaac to Finn: no, she knows people's moves get more obvious when they are angry, she is playing with his mind. She is making him angry.

Charles: stop dodging my attacks you tiny rat.

Finn looked at April then to Isaac : oh i see, did you teach her that?

Isaac: Oh please, I lost track of all the things I taught her.

Just as she dodges his attack she punches him right in his side breaking a rib.

Charles: AAAAH!!

Charles: okay that is enough.

April remembers Isaac's words: he fights dirty one way to win either to kill him or make sure he can't stand up anymore.

April to herself: there is nothing called a dirty move if you are trying to survive.

April jumped on one of Charles's legs breaking it.

Charles: AAAAAHHH!!

April kicks him in the face; Charles faints on the ground and everyone applauds to April.

April looked at Isaac and smiled and he was already looking at her.

April walked to Isaac and said: how was I?

Isaac: you were perfect

April: you were right about me being hotter once I win this.

Isaac takes April's face in his hands.

You are always hot whether you win or not.

April: oh yeah I almost forgot.

April stood over a large rock.

April: everyone I need your attention.

Everyone stopped chatting and looked at her

April: I am April the rightful princess of Gana. As all of you know King Arthur the King of Magland killed my mother Queen Flora, and he won't stop until the four kingdoms fall under his rule. I am asking all of you to come with me and reclaim our home back.

One of the soldiers: why should we die for you? Back then we fought for your mom and she didn't care about who died and who didn't.

April: I know I am asking all of you to take a huge risk, but you should know that I am willing to die for any one of you, I am not my mother, and I will never be, but I am not going to sit down while all of you fight for me, I will be there to fight for myself and for every Gana soldier.

The soldiers kept exchanging looks and started whispering

Isaac took a step in front of the soldiers.

Isaac: Everyone, hear me out. My name is Isaac Mikaelson, and I was the Queen Flora's guard and now I am Queen April's guard. We all know that our first lesson in becoming soldiers is to be loyal to our queen and to never question her. All that my queen is asking is a chance to reclaim our home and if you refuse to help us, we will leave and never bother you again.

As all of them looked at each other.

Isaac: Just as I thought, no one of you dares to be brave, just so all of you know, I am willing to fight the Maglands on my own while knowing I will die just because I am not afraid, not from them.

Eva: I am tagging along.

Iris: So am I; Elizabeth, are you coming?

Elizabeth: Of course I am, I am not a coward.

And few others started to accept

Charles: APRIL!!

Charles approached April with his broken leg

Isaac grabbed his sword in case Charles thought of doing anything stupid.

Charles: you have won me, while no one ever could.

-Isaac chuckled

Charles: Will you accept me to become one of your soldiers and I promise you, my full loyalty.

April: of course Charles we need brave men like you to reclaim Gana again.

Looked to the soldiers.

Charles: Everyone, you will fight alongside me to protect our Queen and reclaim Gana.

Everyone started to accept that they will be fighting for April.

Charles: for Queen April.

Everyone cheered: for Queen April

And they kept repeating.

Finn: Can you hear this, they are cheering your name, Queen?

April: yes, I can hear it, and it feels so motivational.

Isaac: Do you still think you are not ready yet? Because I think you are way more inspiring than your mom used to be.

Isaac and April exchanged a look full of passion.

By night

Eva: So as long as we are going to follow you, we need to know what your plan is.

April: getting soldiers and reclaiming Gana.

Iris: That simple?

Isaac: how many soldiers do we have?

Elizabeth: two thousand.

Finn: won't be enough. Magland has almost forty thousand soldiers.

April: what if we made an alliance with the Magia kingdom?

Isaac: yeah, but we both know they are not really into fighting, they are all about magic.

April: I have heard stories about them winning a war with just a dozen of wizards.

Finn: they use magic to protect themselves not to start wars.

Isaac: it is a bad idea April.

April: I think it is the best one we have.

Eva: Yeah I think so too.

Elizabeth: yeah sounds like a plan to me.

Iris: so what are we waiting for?

Isaac: no, no, no, we are not going to the Magia kingdom.

April: why?

Isaac: you don't need to know why I am... I'm just not ready to go there.

April: do you have enemies there.

Isaac lefts out a heavy sigh: you can say that.

April: okay good thing we are good at making peace. We will head to the Magia kingdom tomorrow morning, so everyone go have a rest.

All of the group who were standing with April: okay your Majesty.

The next morning as April and her soldiers were heading toward Magia. Isaac and Finn were talking about how to make sure everything goes as planned while Queen April is thinking about how to become the Queen her people deserve.
