Next day on the way to finding The Enigma

Finn: So Isaac how far are we going to keep walking?

Isaac: I don't know Finn just shut up.

Finn: How about you take a nap and dream about how far it is.

Isaac chuckled along with everyone else.

April came to Isaac and whispered: " Isaac are you sure we are in the right direction."

Isaac: I am not sure, I am starting to lose hope actually.

Eva: What is that over there?

-Everyone looked to where her finger was pointed.-

it was a large rock with words engraved on it.

Isaac looked to April and said: " forget what I said I didn't lose hope or anything like that. "

April looked at the rock and started reading.

April: "traveler if you made it that far it means you are on the right way, but can we trust you that depends. Let us test you with a simple puzzle… What can never be observed, but its presence prevents everything from being seen? Once you know the answer just say it out loud to the rock."

Finn: Isaac have you dreamt of the answer or not?

Isaac: no I didn't, but I did dream of pulling your throat out.

April: does anyone know the answer?

Everyone looked at each other.

Isaac: I don't think anyone knows.

April: we have to know the answer, anyone wants to try?

Iris: I can give it a try.

Isaac: no wait, what if it is a one-time thing?

April closed her eyes and started thinking.

APRIL'S POV

I closed my eyes trying to get anything that makes sense with the riddle.

So I started thinking about my mom and all the times she was there for me when I was seven years old.

I started remembering the time I woke up and I was scared of sleeping alone in the dark.

" MOM!" I shouted while crying.

My mom opened the door and rushed in.

"what is it my love?" mom asked. " I was alone and scared and I couldn't see anything. It was very dark." I replied.

Mom hugged me and started whispering." sweetheart darkness can't hurt you, yet it can scare you."

" I don't know, I wish I was as brave as you," I said.

"Can I tell you a secret" mom asked?

I nodded

" I am also afraid of the dark but whenever it is dark I start remembering that you are my light." mom said.

"APRIL!" Isaac shouted. " I am so sorry I was just thinking about the answer " I replied.

Isaac placed his hands on my shoulder and said "are you sure you are okay?"

" Yeah I am fine and I know the answer" I replied.

" you do?" Isaac asked.

I walked toward the rock and whispered to it; " the answer is (darkness)".

The floor started to shake and the rock moved

"I guess you pissed off the rock," Eva said.

The rock started to open and revealed downstairs.

I looked at Isaac and we both shared a smile.

"Well, I will be damned," Finn whispered.

"There is no time to lose, we should get going," I said.

We went downstairs to check what's there and I was surprised that there was a whole kingdom underground.

Once we were in front of the gates a few soldiers raised their weapons at us. Their weapons looked very advanced and it seemed very unique in a way.

A man approached us slowly and said "congratulations travelers, you have proven yourself worthy"

the man signaled for the soldiers to put down their weapons.

"Please follow me," he said.

I followed him to a room with a door that opened by pressing some buttons. Once we were inside the man looked at Isaac and said "I am so sorry but you can't get inside with that weapon please give it to me"

Isaac looked at me and took his sword out and placed it in the man's hand.

"Thank you," the man said.

The man sat down on one end while I and Isaac sat down on the opposite end of the table.

"In case you are asking, my name is Kamal," the man said.

"Hi Kamal, my name is April," I said. The man looked at Isaac for a few seconds and then asked him "have we met before?"

Isaac looked at him and kept quiet for a moment "no I don't believe we have, but you look very familiar" Isaac said.

A man with weird armor got in and said "king Kamal have you asked to see me?"

"Not now we will speak later," Kamal said.

"What kind of armor is that?" Isaac asked.

"Oh no, it is not actually an armor, we call it an exoskeleton, it enhances your movements, makes you faster, stronger, and more bearing," Kamal said.

"Cool but sounds fake in a way," Isaac said.

"You think you can take down someone with an exoskeleton?" Kamal asked with a smile.

"oh yeah I don't think I can, but I know I can," Isaac said.

"oh yeah, it is on," kamal said.

"Alright easy there we are here asking for help not searching for a fight," I said.

"the help will be granted after the fight," Kamal said.

I looked to Isaac with an angry look then looked at Kamal

"So if we lost this fight, there is no help?" I asked.

" Of course I will help, I just want to know how good he can fight," Kamal said.

"I guess you have never heard of me right?" Isaac asked.

"I am sorry, should I know you?" Kamal asked.

"I am Isaac Mikaelson, the best fighter in all the kingdoms" Isaac stated.

"You said, Isaac?" Kamal asked with shock.

"Is there a problem?" I asked.

Kamal stayed quiet for a while before answering.

"No no no just thought it sounded familiar," he said.

"Does that mean the fight is not happening or what?" Eva asked.

"Yeah, it is," Kamal said.

"What! I would pay that Isaac can take out any clown of yours with that Exo thingy on" Eva said.

"Is that so?" Kamal said.

Kamal looked at Isaac before announcing "tonight Isaac Mikaelson the man who claims to be the best fighter in all the kingdoms will fight me" kamal looked at Isaac with a smile and said "make sure you wear your best armor cause I will break it"

"Good luck with that brother," Isaac said while laughing.

Later before the fight, within a few hours, I got into Isaac's room.

"What are you doing," I asked

"Training," he said.

"Cool, I will leave you to it then," I said.

When I was going to close the door Isaac grabbed it.

"Wait," Isaac said.

"what?" I asked

"did you want to talk or anything like that?" Isaac asked.

"Yeah, kind of," I said.

Isaac sat down on the bed and tapped a space on the bed next to him telling me to sit down.

"what is it?" Isaac asked.

"I just wanted to make sure you are okay before the fight," I said.

"Of course I am okay I never lost a fight and I am not planning on doing so any time soon," Isaac said.

I looked at Isaac and put my hand on his shoulder before saying "please take care of yourself."

Isaac nodded with a smile. I stood up and left the room leaving Isaac to train.

ISAAC POV

It is a few minutes before the fight and I have to wear my armor.

Knock Knock

"Come in," I said.

The man with the Exo armor came in.

"oh hi, you are the man with the Exo thing aren't you?" I asked.

"exoskeleton you mean," the man said.

"yeah whatever" I said.

"look I came to warn you, your armor doesn't stand a chance against an exoskeleton, especially the king's exoskeleton, " the man said.

" I am not backing out of that fight if that is what you want, " I said.

"don't back out I am just saying take care, you look like a brave man mister Isaac," he said.

"Thank you," I said.

As the man was going to leave I said "Wait".

The man looked at me.

"what's your name?" I asked

"My name is Ali," he said.

"Nice to meet you, Ali," I said.

He nodded and left.

I put on my armor and went to the place where the fight is supposed to happen.

A weird robot came into the arena and announced the fighters.

I got in from one door and Kamal followed from the opposite door with a very cool exoskeleton.

"Ready for your first defeat Isaac," Kamal said

"Oh, you will be surprised when you know that I don't get defeated," I said.

"Let's check out this theory shall we," Kamal said.

The robot started counting

3...2...1… FIGHT!

Kamal rushed at me, already preparing a punch, with unbelievable speed just when I was going to dodge the punch landed right on my jaw sending me to the end of the arena.

"Ouch, that hurts," I said.

"Wait for the fight to end and maybe you won't be able to move," Kamal said.

I stood up, took out my sword, and launched at him but he grabbed my arm with one hand and took the sword with the other hand, and shoved me to the ground.

"What a cute toy," Kamal said.

Kamal broke the sword with his bare hands and threw it aside.

I rushed at him but he kicked me in the stomach and jumped above me.

"your theory isn't true," Kamal said.

Kamal kept throwing punches and until he broke my armor and I couldn't move anymore.

Kamal stood up and looked at me with a smile.

I looked at the seats to see April looking at me and moving her lips saying "I believe in you"

I struggled to stand up until I was on my feet but still taking my breath.

"you can take a punch can't you?" Kamal said.

"is that all you have got?" I said.

Kamal clenched his fist and exactly when he was going to punch I grabbed his hand.

"I guess it is time to use my inner powers just like you are using your outer ones," I said.

Kamal looked surprised.

"How are y.." Kamal said right before he was interrupted by a punch on his face sending him to the ground.

I looked at my hand to see them glowing with dark blue power and the color kept rising in my veins too from my hands to my neck until all I could see was blue.

"what the hell are you?" Kamal said.

"I am Isaac Mikaelson," I said with a smile.

Kamal rushed at me but just before he was going to punch me I dodged his punch and grabbed his exoskeleton and tore off the arm.

"alright that is it," Kamal said

Kamal raised his hands and it turned to some king of canon.

I looked at him and smiled.

"Give me your best shot," I said.

Kamal shot the cannon, and everything turned black.
