1 Meeting the Squad

"Alright lads, according to the map it says that the treasure should be in a nearby island called Monstadt" said Chevreuse, the captain of the ship. "But Captain, didn't you say that the storm was gonna hit the area in a while" asked one of the men on deck. "Narrrr, we'll make it back before the storm, I know we will, just wait and see" Unfortunately, the storm came quite a bit earlier than expected, the clouds blurred Chevreuse's vision, the wind was blowing so hard that she couldn't control the ship. "Stay on your guards lads, we'll brave through this storm" But soon, everyone was thrown off the ship, Chevreuse was thrown on a nearby island. "Arr, that was quite the storm, but where am I, and where's me crew at?" Soon, another girl saw Chevreuse and decided to help her. "Ay, you look like you need some help, mind if I take you to our camp?" "Arr, thank you lass, I had quite the adventure" said Chevreuse. "What happened?" asked the other girl. "I was on me ship when a storm came and threw me and me crew overboard, I don't know where they are, but next thing I knew, I ended up here" "Oh, I'm so sorry that happened, but don't worry we'll help you out with repairing your ship, and you can stay with us for while, oh my name's Amber by the way, yours?" "The name's Chevreuse, a nobel Captain from the Atlantic, what is this place?" "Oh, well technically you're in the woods, but this is the city of Mondstadt!" "Well I'll be", added Chevreuse while being surprised. "I was planning to go here to find the treasure" "What treasure?" asked Amber. "That doesn't matter now, lass, I need to relax first". "Well, if you mind, can I introduce you to everyone and ask you a few questions?" "Sure why not?", said Chevreuse. "First, we have Bennett, he's our technician and will help repair your ship" "Yo, hello there, nice to finally have a new member, I promise I'll make your ship look good as new" "Aw, thanks lad, I appreciate it" "Anytime" added Bennett. "Next, we have Xiangling, she has quite the temper, but means well, and she's probably the strongest of the group" Amber said. "I see you carry a gun around, I respect it, shows that you can fend for yourself" said Xiangling. "Well, I am a captain overall, I kinda do need a weapon to defend meself from bandits, also your outfit's quite revealing, isn't it" "Well, in my family, it's tradition to show your legs and more importantly your thighs to show the amount of strength you have, thank you very much!" said Xiangling. "Me bad, didn't mean to offend, it was just something that looked odd to me, I apologize" Chevreuse said. "Xiangling, be a little bit more nice to her" added Amber. "You're right, sorry Chevreuse" "I forgive you, lass" "You have quite the crew, don't ya, Amber?" "Yeah, even though there were some members who left, at least most of us are still here" said Amber. "But next, here's our little Klee" she added. "I didn't know children were a part of this crew, too" said Chevreuse while being confused. "Well despite her size and age, Klee's actually very sharp-minded, even though she wished to be as tall as us, we often tease her about it, she doesn't take it seriously most of the time" "I see she's busy, maybe I'll talk to her later" stated Chevreuse. "Alright now, we have Yoimiya" said Amber with disdain. "Hey there newbie, aren't you proud of my wonderful blonde hair, it's only one of a kind, and only I can have this hairstyle" "Yoimiya, you're not something worth bragging about, you're just like me, we both use the bow and arrow, only difference is you care about your self image a little too much" said the annoyed Amber. Yoimiya just chuckled. "Now we have Hu Tao, and where is she?" said Amber. Hu Tao popped up behind Chevreuse and gave her a good scare. "Oh, you got me good, lass, that was an great introduction" "Finally, someone was a good sport, nice to meet you too, you look like you'll be fun to joke around" "She's a bit of a prankster, but her pranks are never mean spirited" said Amber. "Well that's everyone that's currently in the group, so what do you think?" "I like it, you guys are all unique in one way or another, but I am a bit sleepy, can you hold off the questions for tomorrow, please?" "Of course" added Amber, "I already set up a tent just for you" So Chevreuse went to sleep, while thinking about how great this little squad is.
