chapter 28: search of the run away princess 1

back in odermatts kingdom. king Romano was tapping his finger in frustration.

it's been over a half a year since she left the castle and no one found her. he even place a reward to find her but none of them couldn't find her.

when the ministry report the process. he became angry.

"it's over half a year and none of you found her?!"

after that event. the king became more irritated, for months they been searching the whole kingdom but none of them found her.

the only thing clue they have was Henrietta's puppet. but after for so many months he destroyed the puppet.

as his question, king Romano couldn't help but frown and said.

"that's impossible, that child was being sheltered inside the palace. not only that, I told everyone inside the palace to ignored her if she wants something."

for years, he became cold towards his daughter for untalented. most of his children was literally a genius and some has talent in calling spirits.

he thought that the simple child will be remain untalented and he plan to married her when the time has come.

sadly, those plans was ruined and he was eager to find her.

"for now continued searching her and if what you said is true, then I'll call the trackers."

as soon as the ministry left, his face remain frown and spoke.

as he said it, the laughter was be heard in the office but Celestina didn't revealed herself and spoke in a cold tone.

"oh? you know am here my son?"

"oh don't be anger my son, it's not like am mocking you or something."

as she playfully conversation to Romano, his displeasure was still in his heart and ask in a serious tone.

"mother I want to ask a serious question and need to answer me."

"oh? a question? let me guess you are asking for me to help you finding your daughter right?"

"yeah, we will you help."

at his question, Celestina couldn't help but laugh and ask.

"why would I help you my son? you already told every people including your personal guards to find her."

"yes I know that, but what I want is to use your witch corp they are the best tracker we have."

as he ask the witch corp, Celestina couldn't help but frown and said in a cold tone.

"my son, although I love you. it didn't mean I'll just let you do what you want. the witch corp was the backbone of this country and if I accept your wish. those holy knight will kill them."

"but mother, you have over 30 thousand witches. I just need a cou-"

but before he could continue to speak. Celestina spoke mockingly.

"hahaha, my son are you stupid? you want to sacrifice my witch corp for your incompetent. do you really think that those girls which I trained personally are just disposable tools?"

as she look at his son coldly, she then ask.

"my son, those girls are not dirty rag. if you keep bugging me for those girls, I swear that you will receive worst punishment than death."

when Celestina gave him a threat. he couldn't help but shudder. he knew that will never win to his mother not to mention rebel her. this makes him gritted his teeth and ask.

"then what am I supposed to do?! my younger daughter probably end-."

but before he could continue. Celestina gave a heavy pressure causing to vomit blood.

"ha, what do you mean endangered. for the past years you been cold towards your daughter. not only that, you even tried to remove her from the family. if your father didn't intervene she probably end up in the streets and die or probably worst?! and you. as a father have guts to called her endangered?!"

as her shout. he couldn't help but to boiled in anger for years. he really hate his mother and father for destroying his plans.

"hmph, you're lucky that you are the king of this country. if wasn't your brother a guardian of akashi records. you probably already a farm boy now."

upon her sarcastic question, Romano didn't answer since his mother knew everything in the castle. the reason she didn't intervene was because his father already gave up the authority of the king. but even if his rein already end. it didn't mean his influence already gone.

as her voice vanish. Romano's body became light and wipe his blood.

Romano knew he will never win but it didn't mean she will stay on the top.

as he glance the window. he stared a the mountain range while making his new plans.
