chapter 2: adventures and doll shop

in the middle of the mountain range, Henrietta was gave a small chuckled as she look at her crystal ball.

this item was a controller she use to move a puppet anywhere she go.

"hmm, it's been a year since I reincarnated to this world."

in her previous life. she was a ordinary doll and a puppet maker. she even use her own money to but a unique and collection dolls and puppets. but tragic struck as her house got caught on fire.

although she hate to leave her precious collection. she choice to save her family and as a result. her life long collection turned into ash.

what's worst is she was killed as she tried to save her sister and burned to death after throwing her sister in the second floor.

lucky she was save but unfortunately for me she died but she didn't regret it.

although she was sad that her previous family was more nice than here new family. her loves towards puppets and dolls will never changes.

when she was young. she studied magic and even tried to be a mage but it was failed due to reason. first she didn't possess magic element. which most of her siblings acquired element. second she isn't talented. everytime she cast magic her level of her mana was low and can cast low tier spell. and lastly. her father Moriah. didn't love her.

unlike how he tried his children. Henrietta was different. he always mock and compare her towards his siblings. what's worst, her mother was the same. as a result. she lock herself to anyone and didn't even show up to anybody.

most people of the kingdom including higher-ups didn't know she was exist. only now the duke knows it.

although she wasn't talented. she didn't gave up.

for years she studied magic and theory everyday without telling anyone. she even sneak in the library and studies high tier books. she even goes far as copied the thick books in just one night.

as a result. she became a mages without anyone knows.

but it's not enough.

she knew that someday. her powers will revealed and use her in politics by her family. so she use theory and experiment to move the puppet she makes.

although it was a half baked. she didn't failed and successful moved the puppet using mana strings.

she can moved the puppet like it was ordinary and even made the puppet dance. but there is a problem. she couldn't use it from far away or even the puppet use magic.

think a different method. she remembers that some mages use the consumable item called controller.

it's an item to control living beings like rats to send a message or even survey the target.

when Henrietta got her results. she sneak in to the royal mages and steal a few control crystal and tried to use it on puppet.

although she failed several times and even the crystal shattered many times. she was successful in just few years.

thanks to this, she survey and listen to every conversation from the people. she even heard rumors about her and even find out that she will be engaged to someone.

as a result, she ran away from the castle and use her puppet which it looks like her to be it's substitute.

"good thing I still have few more control crystal."

the crystal which she been using was shattered into pieces and sigh in sadness.

"although it was just a consumable items. it's still a waste to be shattered this useful items. I wonder what will I in the next town."

as she was excited of how to be adventures or open a doll shop. her main concern was how to expand her knowledge.

right now, most people didn't know about puppeteer. she wants the puppet to move in it's own and use it from other things so her first stop was to enter the magic school which is on the difference country and to do so she need money.

"I guess I have to apply to be adventures."

adventures was a quick money and at the same time. a risky job.

in a line of job, one mistake and it's over for Henrietta, especially since she was a low ranking mage. what's worst is she didn't know anyone.

she knew how people are too cruel towards each other and she couldn't trust someone openly.

as Henrietta was fired up. she decided to be adventures to earned money and sell some dolls she will make.
