92 The doppelganger!

A man similar to Dan in every possible way stood next to him who was on the floor. From the black beauty spot on his collarbone to the hair on his chest this man was practically Dan's doppelganger.

He wore nothing on his chest and only a few braces on his biceps and wrists. He wore a black garment to cover his lower body and a long black scarf that billowed in the wind.

There were only a few differences between Dan and the man but the differences were huge.

The man had 2 horns, one was long and extended backwards until it curled in the form of an O while the other was broken. It was not sliced of by a sword or a blade of any kind but crushed with someone's hands.

The man grinned and squatted down held his middle finger out in front of Dan. A small fiery ball emanating heat conjured from thin air and slowly spun using the man's finger as it's axis. Two more slightly smaller balls conjured from thin air and spun around the fiery ball. One more ball finally conjured from thin air and this one was three times the other ones and rotated around the fiery ball.

The small balls of energy were all different in colour. One was shining brightly like a star, another was so pitch black and dark that not even the light coming from the ball could penetrate it.

Then there was the final ball. It was red and yellow like a hot flame. It was trying it's best to consume the fiery ball which was also trying to consume it.

"What did you do?" Dan asked the man.

"What do you think I have done?" the man asked Dan.

Despite the lack of stamina Dan managed to pull himself up and punched the man in the face in the face sending him flying far of. Dan held his hand forth and the balls of energies flew to him and rotated now all the same size except for the fiery ball which acted as the sun to the others.

"Don't answer my question with a question!" Dan hissed.

The man stood up and cracked his neck before smiling. He had unusually long canines which had been hidden under his lips.

"You can't forever be in charge Little Dan!" the man said.

"Says who? Your mom?"

"You know the rules and you broke them, the only thing left to do is to take you down by force."

"There were no rules before, you idiots were the invaders and I merely protected myself. Also take me down by force, Ha!" Dan let out a loud chuckle. "Don't be stupid, how many times have you tried and failed, if I got a gold coin for how many times you tried and failed I would have 112,345 gold coins."

The man frowned. "Why do you keep count?"

"No reason, now leave me alone, I won't fight you again."

"I didn't come here to fight you, I just came to tell you that your times is near, little Dan, It is only a matter of time till you are gone, with each breath that you take, I grow stronger by the second, while you spend your time sleeping and eating I grow smarter and soon my powers will be so powerful that you won't be able to stop them."

The man continued talking for quite a while but stopped when Dan raised his hand. The man put both of his hands unto his mouth. Even he was surprised by this as his widened eyes said so.

"Stop with your lunatical chattering, just hearing you talk for hours on end does nothing but give me a headache." Dan twisted his hand in the air suddenly, "Begone now and leave me alone for a while!"

The man's body started to slowly disintegrate to ash... no... smoke... no... the man's body slowly disintegrated and turned into a blazing fire. He was no longer standing where he had been once the fire distinguished almost as instantly as it started.

Dan stared at the small balls of energy that were floating in his hand for quite a while before muttering under his breath. "How did even get these?"

He slammed the balls of energy into his chest which instantly disappeared as if they phased through it.

"Your time is near..." Dan mimicked the man speaking in a childish voice. "fucking asshole... always giving me headaches!"

"Well anyways I just need to rest for a while to recover my energy and go back out there."

Dan held his hand forth and the earth molded itself into the shape of a comfy chair. It looked comfortable but that was it, it was not comfortable in the slightest way. It was a good thing Dan was used to sitting and sleeping on such uncomfortable grounds.

Back on the surface, Enfor had found her little sisters corpse. The one that had been killed by Haider.

She fell on her knees and held the corpse tightly as tears trickled down her cheeks.

She rocked herself for quite a while unable to accept the fact that her sister was dead. "NO...NO...NO, NO, NO, NO THIS ISN'T POSSIBLE, IT CAN'T BE, THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE!"

While Enfor clutched to the corpse crying she heard footsteps. She turned around to see who it was.

It was the lady who was looking for Dan. Her name was Jessie. She whistled in amazement looking at all the fallen buildings and the corpses that were put on poles by Dan's headless zombies.

"Wow, the kid really takes after his mother." she commented. Her eyes fell on Enfor who was staring back at her.

"Hey you, Do you know where the guy responsible for this is?" she asked.

Enfor was silent for a minute before she spoke. "I don't know but I promise you if I find him, I will kill him and his entire family, are you one of his companions?"

"Companion? Haha, no, I have never even seen him in my life, the only reason why I was even able to track him here was because of the immense chaos energy." Jessie walked forward for quite a bit before she caught an arrow that was centimetres away from her face.

"What is the meaning for this?" Jessie asked.

"You think I am dumb, humans don't just casually walk around like they own this land, the fact that you are so nonchalantly walking around like you don't care makes me think that you are one of his companions."

Jessie sighed and spoke. "As I already told you, I am not his companion or whatever so leave me alo-" Jessie caught two more arrows.

"It seems like no matter what I say you still want to fight. Fine then, entertain me!"
