15 Chapter 15: No Longer Human

BAAAM!
A giant werewolf filled with scars oozing with deadly poison fell to the floor, shattering the ground below him and leaving countless cracks behind. His entire body was bleeding all over, and even when he tried to recover his wounds constantly, they would reopen once more due to the wicked poison imbued into his flesh and blood.
"Unnggh…! You damn bastard…"
Jack slowly began to stand up, only for a massive snake-like humanoid monster to emerge behind him. Unlike the form Han had taken, Adam was completely on another level. Half of his body wasn't legs but an enormously long snake tail that ended on a sharp and venomous spear-like tip.
Meanwhile, his upper body was tremendously muscular, with three pairs of arms, each one wielding a powerful magical weapon of at least C Rank and above. His snake-like face resembled a ferocious python, and it had green eyes, with a seventh black eye in the middle of his forehead.
Demonic horns grew around his head, forming a crown of malefic darkness. His entire body was covered with wounds as well, some rather deadly looking, but it was clear that his transformation held a tremendous difference in power compared to his disciple, Hans.
"What's wrong, Jacky? You said you were going to show me your "true power" yet the only thing I've been fighting so far is nothing but a rabid dog!" Laughed Adam. "You're a pathetic mut, incapable of even holding a fight against me now that I've received the blessings of my master, Uroboros."
"Tch… You're nothing but a pathetic bastard, you've sold your humanity, your very being to become a monster." Jack muttered, spitting blood and a few of his fangs, and relocating his lower jaw in the process.
"Hoh? And what are YOU then? You possess a demonic power as well, whatever your dog-like power is, it is demonic! What makes you and me any DIFFERENT?!" Adam confronted Jack, his eyes sharply glancing at his pathetic and tattered body.
"You chose to become a monster when there were other options. When there were other ways. I… had no choice. I took this power because I wanted to live and protect my sister, my only family… You choose it just to fill your pathetic ego with enough confidence that you could beat the one that almost killed you." Jack said with a smirk. "You're a piece of shit, Adam."
"Hah… HAHAHAHA!" Adam began to laugh manically. "That's right! I am a piece of shit… But you're below shit! You're the bugs that eat shit, you damn mut bastard!"
Adam roared, leaping towards Jack as his six arms began swinging wildly against him. His six magic swords unleashed slashes of flames, ice, water, winds, lightning, and darkness, decimating everything that they touched.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Jack summoned his favorite weapon, and the one he has crafted using A Rank quality material from monsters, and even using a fang from Fenrir, the powerful Demonic Sword, Gram!
CLAAASH!!
His black-colored sword shone like onyx as it unleashed a wave of pure darkness, while Jack's monstrous aura emerged around and shaped within his sword, generating countless wolf-like jaws. The hisses and roars of the two monsters fighting echoed across the dungeon, and the entire place started to tremble. No monsters dared to get closer to these two calamities that could annihilate a city while fighting.
"Hahah… You're becoming slower, Jack! Your death is soon approaching! You're going to die by MY hand! I will avenge all of my disciples! You damn bastard! Die like the dog you are! {Uroboros Embodiment}!!!"
Adam roared, concentrating all of his Venom Aura into his six swords, which quickly merged into a gigantic and monstrous, red-scaled snake, which quickly rushed towards Jack while opening its monstrous jaws!
"SHAAAH!!"
Jack was unable to react in time, as the massive snake devoured him whole, cutting off his legs and leaving them behind, as the rest of his body was crushed into pieces and swallowed… Adam glanced at the scene with a maniacal smile. He was filled with pride and the satisfaction of a victory against a deadly, and overwhelming foe. He felt proud, his chest puffed in happiness, and his smile could reach his ears!
"Hah… Hahahaha! I won… I WON! Lord Uroboros! I offer you Jack's soul as- SHAAKH?!"
However, something odd was happening with the snake he summoned by fusing the six magic swords. It began wriggling around and coughing blood. Adam was unable to understand what was happening until he saw Gram's blade piercing the snake's belly and opening it wide.
SLAAASH!
From within, countless red-colored wolf-like eyes emerged, as an endless darkness crawled out of the snake's stomach, and then started wrapping around the monster's entire body, devouring it completely in just a single second…
CRUNCH!
"A-Ah… Ahh… W-Wha…?!"
Adam felt so shocked he couldn't understand. Uroboros Embodiment was the literal embodiment of his demonic patron, a familiar containing powers he could only summon by sacrificing high-quality materials, such as those weapons.
Yet Jack… let himself be eaten and then ate it from the inside out?!
What kind of ridiculous power is that? Just… what was Jack?
As Adam slowly saw Jack reform himself into his original form after eating his two legs left behind, he quickly understood something.
While he had become a monster…
Jack was just… something else.
He was worse than a monster.
He wasn't a human either.
He was… "something".
Something beyond his comprehension.
"Hahhh, that hits the spot." Jack sighed. "I was waiting for you to summon that snake to refill my stomach, thanks a lot, buddy."
"B-Buddy!?" Adam asked in shock. "W-What the fuck are you?!"
"Hahah, you shouldn't be worried about that right now, why don't you try contacting your patron again?" Said Jack with a cynical smile, pointing into the ground, as all Demons resided in Hell while Constellations were in Heaven.
"E-Eh?!" Adam felt fear, and suddenly realized his connection with Uroboros was weakening severely, with every passing second. His face was filled with despair as his entire body slowly started to transform back into his human form. "Uroboros?! Lord Uroboros?! Answer me, Lord Uroboros!"
Adam grew more desperate as he turned back to a human, Uroboros was not answering him either, it seemed as if he had gone mute. Jack slowly walked back to him, his entire body shrouded in shadows, but his face was still that of a human with wolf-like eyes and long black hair.
"Was this fight… this entire thing…?! A farse?!" Adam asked.
"Oh, no. I really struggled. I almost died there." Jack said. "Fenrir was almost having enough of our shit in fact… I was holding him back because I wanted to do something else. And there you go! Like every Demonic Human, they always bring their demon's embodiment… You guys really love those familiars, don't you?"
"W-What?"
"Don't you understand? A familiar is the embodiment of your demon. What do you think would happen to them if I eat a part of them?" Jack asked, demonic power began emerging from his hands, as one of them was covered with red scales and sharp claws seeping venom… "This happens."
"Y-You can eat… demons…?" Adam muttered. "Just what… WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU?!"
"Why would I bother explaining?" Sighed Jack. "I don't like talking with food."
"F-Food…?"
Adam cried, as Jack's entire body transformed into a mass of countless wolf-like jaws, eating him piece by piece, as he screamed in despair until nothing was left behind.
"Phew! That really hits the spot, Jacky~!" Laughed a gigantic wolf that emerged out of Jack's shadows, rubbing his big belly.
Not only did he eat a big Demon Fragment but he ate that whole human, Fenrir couldn't feel more satisfied now.
"Don't call me Jacky…" Sighed Jack. "Now hurry, we need to go look for Anna!"
"Tch, I bet she's already inside the belly of a monster or something…" Laughed Fenrir.
"Shut the fuck up!" Jack seemed to be back to his normal self.
Whenever Fenrir acted, his personality would often turn cynical and evil-like, although his real personality was someone calm and overall nice, the one talking to Adam was 80% Fenrir and 20% Jack. He quickly turned into a giant black wolf, rushing through the dungeon at fast speed.
"Anna… Please, please be safe!"

When I finally got my senses back, I looked completely new. My skin was soft like a baby, yet stronger than ever, my hair had gained a blonde hue within the brown color it held, and my eyes… I don't know what color they had, but they were shiny. An aura of light overflowed across my body.

I was completely remade… Above all, I finally unlocked the KI Stat, the special energy that flows around the body, which is essential to utilize Martial Arts! It is a tricky stat though, as it only grows through strengthening the Physique and not through leveling. But with this, all of my body feels way stronger than before! For the body of a 17-year-old girl, this is not bad at all.
