Chapter 3: The new born

She couldn't sleep because of the howling of wolves around. Now she realizes that there are many wild animals living in the forest, that's why she is forbidden to go out.

She stood up and went to the window. She opened the thick curtain a little and peeked outside. There were people walking and there were people sitting on the bonfire, she didn't know them except Krennic.

Krennic is handsome, his long hair was tied back, his skin was also pale and his eyes were a strange color, a mixture of gray and black, but she saw that they had turned red when she saved him from Dickon.

Even though her mind was running badly, she already suspected that krennic was strange.

What can she do if her suspicions are correct? Will she run out of this big castle or stay because of the debt she has to pay?

Her head suddenly hurt from the thoughts. Can the things she just watched in the movie happen in real life?

She was suddenly nervous, as Krennic looked up and their eyes met.

She sat on the floor suddenly. Did he see her? Impossible because the inside of her room was dark, so it was unlikely that Krennic could see her.

She went back to lying on the bed and stared at the ceiling as if she could see something there.

'Why are there so many guards? Why does Dickon say to kill me to fulfill the prophecy? Why am I so nervous? And Krennic is handsome.'

She pulled out her hair. "Ahhh. It's stressful to think about."

She adjusted her bed and began to count, so that sleep would visit him. "1,2,3,4-------1001...Until Akesha didn't realize that she fell asleep.

In the morning, she noticed that everyone are worried.

She couldn't avoid asking. "Are you all right?"

They just looked up at her and nodded.

"Akesha?" A woman with dark brown eyes called to her. This is the girl who was left behind last night. The woman beckoned her to come here.

She came here. "Yes?" She even recoiled when she smelled her.

She stared at Akesha, trying to read the contents of her mind. "Dickon's right, you don't have scent and I can't read your mind. Now I know." Her finger played with the necklace Alexa had given Akesha.

She smiled at Akesha. "But you don't need that tonight, because once the pure blooded V is born. You will have that ability for as long as you live." She noticed the confusion in her eyes.

"The eyes of mortals are the door to their soul.

She was suddenly confused. And tried to understand everything she told her. "Ability, door?"

The woman caressed her hair. "Prepare yourself or you won't be able to handle what you will witness in the next few days."

She looked at Nay Koring. "Please prepare what Alexandious Niccolas Tyler will wear, he will come out later at the same time as the sun covers the moon."

She was suddenly excited, because tonight Señorita Alexa will give birth. Can I be inside while she gives birth?

"Akesha, go to the safe room." Martha ordered her. "Señorita is calling you."

She quickly went upstairs, and rushed to the safe room. She immediately noticed Alexa's weakness. She reached out her hand to her.

She felt her grip on her hand. "He will come out later Akesha."

She smiled sweetly. "I'm excited Señorita."

She sat down, "Would you still smile sweetly if you knew the truth?"

She surprised by what Alexa said. "What do you mean?"

It just shook its head.

Someone came in, wearing a white dress, he was also handsome but pale.

He smiled at Alexa. "How's your feeling?"

"My baby wants to see the world. He's moving."

"We only have five hours."

Then Alexa will give birth at 7:30 in the evening.

She didn't leave Alexa, they just brought them something to eat in the room.

Time flies, now that Alexa is about to give birth.

Now she and Andious are holding Alexa while she labors. She wonders because Alexa's nose and eyes are covered, isn't it difficult to give birth like that?

"He's coming." Alexa just doesn't seem like the baby is about to come out. What she knows is that it is difficult to give birth. But Alexa didn't sweat at all.

When they heard the child's cry, everyone was happy.

She felt the bottom of her right shoulder suddenly heat up. "Ahhh!"

The doctor asked her. "Are you okay?"

She just nodded. They were even more surprised when the safe room door suddenly opened and Krennic entered, covered in blood.

"They're in." Because the door of the safe room was open, he could hear the noise of breaking things and howling wolves. Andious went out with the doctor so only the three of them were left inside.

Alexa approached her "Hold Niccolas first."

She panicked suddenly. "I don't know how to hold."

Alexa's chuckled. "Imitate my touch."

When she got the right grip. Alexa let her hug Alexandious Niccolas Tyler.

She felt joy in her heart when he tightly held her hand. 'This baby is so cute.' That was all she said. The color of its eyes is noteworthy to watch, but she could not identify the true color of his eyes.

Alexa pulled her to the very corner. "Stay here."

She sat on the side. Even though she wants to ask, what is really going on and why is she standing and so strong if she just finished giving birth? But she chose to remain silent because of her serious face.

Suddenly the door opened and two people he didn't know entered. She hugged the baby tightly, who was staring at her.

"It a sin to give birth to him."

Alexa laughed. "Why are you afraid?"

"He is a threat to all of us."

"So you're going to kill a child, in a prophecy that hasn't been fulfilled yet?"

She didn't want to look at the people talking, because she was afraid. She hid the baby, she couldn't allow the people who came in, to do something bad here even though she didn't fully understand what was happening.

"I will protect you baby." The baby is playing with her fingers. It doesn't care about what's going on around it.

"Give us the baby." She knew he was talking to her.

She faced it. "No. I can't allow you to hurt him. What is your problem?"

"Do you know what kind of creature you are holding?"

She stared at the baby in her arms, then shook her head.

Alexa answered. "Over my dead body."

The two men grinned at Alexa. One ran to Alexa and the other to them. In the blink of an eye, Alexa blocked the path of the man who was going to them. Alexa choked it and Akesha almost fainted when Alexa bit the man's neck. Another man was also surprised by what Alexa did because he stopped walking.

Surprise was evident on his face. "When did you become a vampire?"

"It's been a long time."

Alexa ran to the man and did the same thing she did before.

She was afraid, her knees and hands were shaking. But she will not be defeated by fear. She was holding the baby and she was sure she would let go if she panicked.

Is this what her mother and that old woman are talking about? The house she entered was hell because monsters lived there.

Suddenly a big wolf came in, it was drooling. She couldn't cry because her chest was tight.

Alexa ran to it but a big wolf hit it and Alexa's body was thrown against the wall which made a crack due to the force of the impact.

Screaming gathered in his throat because Alexa couldn't get up. The wolf walked towards them, making fearful noises, then jumped towards them. She knew that this would be the end of them and the baby in her arms.

She closed her eyes and waited for the end of them both.
