Fight! (Boy's POV) & Aliana Can't Handle Her Wine pt. 1

Outside of the main hall of Prince Rasmus' castle and fortress, fourteen fit young men stood in two lines waiting for permission to enter. They stood off to the side in a hallway near the entrance, Tristan the Duke of Rockby and Peter the Baron of Elethen stood side by side in the dual lines.

They were all waiting for the princess to arrive at the main hall where they would fight for the honor of being her suitor. Each man that was picked had to fight his way there and they were the best of the best of Theoca's royalty and army. Most of their military officers were made up of the Theocan royalty. Their militaristic ways were woven into their everyday life.

Tristan and Peter were the first ones in line and saw a glimpse of Princess Aliana and her entourage making their way to the large double doors of the main hall. Her deep red gown complimented her equally red hair, but what both men noticed more was the armor and her sparkling sword cover.
