17 Princess inside a brothel-I

The night has fallen and I was wide awake. Merilyn was tired and had fallen asleep along with Gemma.

When we were eating local delicacies it was decided that tomorrow morning we would leave for the capital that was hopefully not more than three days at most.

I silently stood up and removed my clock from the wall and tiptoed to the door opening it and closing it shut silently behind me.

As I closed it, I sighed in relief.

The most important part was done. Now, all that was left for moving out and leaving for the habitation in the main market.

I exited the inn whose keeper that started at the entrance was least bothered by me leaving in the middle of the night. I pulled the clock closer to me for warmth as a shivered when the cold wind blew.

Walking to the same market, I stood in the same place where I had seen the woman being pulled from it. Only drunk men who could barely stand straight and walk were coming out and walking and of the place.

That could only to one— "Ah!" A sudden push came to me and I stumbled into the dirt falling face first in it. A gasp left my mouth as my knees burnt and I knew that they were wounded.

"Look at that," I heard a masculine voice over me, "Are trying to run away from that place?"

Someone snickered. "Well, that isn't the most ideal place for a woman one must agree." He joked and the first one laughed along.

I turned around and stood up seeing two men standing there. "I am not running away," I set in a firm and steady voice at least as much as the situation but permit me to have, "I do not—I am not a member of that place."

The man chuckled and one-clicked his tongue. "Well then to inform you, there is a rule that if a man brings a woman to the brothel has to have unlimited access to her." He grinned and his yellow teeth could be made out in the dim light were visible. "Also, I don't think you would mind having a roof over your head for the rest of your life."

"What do you—let go me!" I yelled at the top of my voice helping someone would listen as the men take hold of each of my arms and start dragging me to the place. This was when I remembered that the same was happening to the woman and I stood there. . .

It was fate bringing the same upon me.

"Let go!" I yelled at the building neared. "Please! Let go!" My cries grew more desperate and the soles of my feet tried to prevent them from taking me inside. My legs were paralyzed in fear. They were getting dragged to wherever these men took me to.

But who was but who I to fight to fully grown men?

"What is it that you want? Money? Jewels?" I yelled making them stop. "I can give you whatever you want if you let me go today. If you want by tomorrow morning I can give you you said only the royal would process!" I could see the waves behind their head-turning and hoped that the bribery I offered would work in my favor.

"You think," one of them spoke, "that you can offer us Royal jewelry by tomorrow morning?" He chuckled looking at the other, "And coins too?"

"Yes!" I nodded my head in desperation to get out of the situation I was in. I could feel the heart coming to my throat in anticipation.

The man rose a brow towards me, "Gold or silver?" If he was mocking me I could not tell because I was focusing on getting out of here.

"Both! Any, if you want!"

The men looked at each other and stared then started to laugh very loudly. "Perhaps, you pushed the lady quite hard. Look at that, I think she is delusional now." He laughed again before grabbing me and I dug my feet into the land.

"Please! Stop!" I commanded with the cries that left my mouth but who was a princess without a crown to stop people?

"We gonna get rich tonight." the man howled and we entered the habitation.
