A whole month has passed since the Sun Empire's attack.

After the first wave of Allore's reinforcements arrived and regained control of the battle, the Sun Empire retreated and showed no signs of returning for the next five days. We used that time to recover — repairing and reinforcing our defenses, treating the wounded, and burying the dead.

Andre sent out a letter to his kingdom, informing his father of the Sun Empire's invasion during the day of our wedding and that he had no intention of leaving Ephemere while the war was upon us.

Allore's King, upon hearing the news, feared for his son's life and sent out the rest of his promised reinforcements as well as the commander of his army to Ephemere immediately, even if the wedding was interrupted.
