Chapter Two

"Yes he does..." Empress Sara hanged her statement

"Why did you call my son a girl?" Empress Sara asked

"It's a boy" Empress Sara said 

"I'm sorry Your Majesty" The midwife apologized

"But you gave birth to a girl" The midwife said

"I know what I gave birth to"

"Don't lie to me" Empress Sara said as she tried to sit down

"Ah..." She screamed in pain

        The midwife quickly rushed to Empress Sara and assisted her to lay down on the bed.

"You need to rest my dear" The midwife said

"My baby...My daughters" Empress Sara said with a sad look on her face

"They are gonna die" Empress Sara said

"What are you saying your majesty?" The midwife asked

"Please save my baby and my daughter's" Empress Sara pleaded

"Save them?...From who?" The midwife asked

"From my Mother-in-law" Empress Sara replied

"She threatened to kill my daughters and my baby if I dare give birth to another girl" Empress Sara said

"Please save my daughters" Empress Sara pleaded

"You are a mother too" Empress Sara said

"What do you want me to do?" The midwife asked

         Empress Sara's mother-in-law was walking towards a room,Two guards were standing beside the door of the room.

"If she dares give birth to another girl"

"I'll kill the baby with my own hands" Empress Sara's mother-in-law said to herself

      After awhile she reached the door.

"Empress Sara" One of the guards called

"The Dowager is here to see you" The guard announced

"The Empress said that you should let her in" The midwife said from inside the room

    The guards quickly opened the door for the Dowager,She got inside and glared at Empress Sara's baby for awhile,Before turning to the midwife.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" The Dowager asked 

    Fears gripped Empress Sara as soon as she heard this,She stared at her baby for awhile before staring at the midwife.

       The midwife wore a smile on her face.

"Dowager..." Empress Sara heart started to beat loudly as soon as the midwife said this

"Luck has shone on this empire" The midwife said 

      Then she wore a smile on her face.

"What is it?" The Dowager asked

"Your daughter-in-law...The Empress of Goldenville empire has given birth to the young Emperor of Goldenville empire" The midwife said

       Empress Sara was so happy to hear this,She gave out a sigh.

"I knew you were a real woman"

"And not some girls making factory" The Dowager said

"Now Goldenville empire hopes have been restored"

"I'll go tell the royal chefs to prepare some delicious meals for you"

"You'll need them to breastfeed the future Emperor of Goldenville empire" The Dowager said then she walked away

      The guards closed the doors as soon as the Dowager left the room.

"Thank you..Thank you for saving my children" Empress Sara said

"Is okay" The midwife said

"How can I repay you?" 

"How much do you need?" Empress Sara asked

"Name your price...I'll...." Empress Sara was interrupted by the midwife

"You don't need to pay me"

"I did what any human would do" The midwife said

"But how long will you be able to hide this?" The midwife asked

"As long as I can" Empress Sara said

"Ok"

"I'll take my leave"

"Be careful my dear" The midwife said

"I will" Empress Sara said

      The midwife walked up to the cupboard and picked up her bag,Then she walked out of the room.

         Some few minutes later,Two little girls ran into the room,One of the girls was at the age of seven,She had long brown hair that plunged over her shoulders and brown eyes.

       While the other girl was at the age of five,She had long ocean blue hair that plunged over her shoulders and  brownish eyes.

        The two girls were both wearing a royal attire.

"Mummy is that our little brother?" The little girl with ocean blue hair asked as she pointed at the newborn baby

"Grandma told us that you gave birth to a baby boy" The little girl with brown hair said

"Mummy...Is it true?" The little girl with brown hair asked

"Yes Flora"

"It is true" Empress Sara replied

"Hurray!" The little girl with ocean blue hair exclaimed as she raised her two hands up in the air

"We now have our own baby brother" The little girl with ocean blue hair said

"Yes you do" Empress Sara said

      Then she softly pinched the little girl with ocean blue hair cheek with her right hand.

"Princess Flora...Princess Lily" A feminine voice called from outside the room

"Mum we have to go"

"Miss Juliet is looking for us" Princess Flora said

"Okay" Empress Sara said

"Bye baby brother" Princess Lily said as she waved her little baby brother goodbye

"I'll see you later" Princess Lily said 

     Then she and Princess Flora left the room.

"I'm sorry my daughters" 

"I'm sorry for lying to you" Empress Sara apologized

"But you two are too young to keep a secret" Empress Sara said to herself

"I promise I'll tell you girls the truth when you are alittle bit older" Empress Sara said to herself

                ***THE NEXT DAY***

      The Dowager and some men were in the royal meeting room as they discussed among themselves.

"The naming ceremony of our future Emperor is going to be a grand one" The Dowager said

"Captain Wood" The Dowager called

"Yes Dowager" One of the men answered

"I want you to send an invitation to all the kingdoms in Goldenville empire"

"Okay Your Majesty" Captain Wood said

"Tell them that whosoever fails to attend the naming ceremony will lose their kingdom along with their lifes" The Dowager said

"Okay your Majesty" Captain Wood said

"I'll take my leave then" Captain Wood said as he stood up

       Then he walked out of the room.

"Dowager" One of the men called

"King Leonard failed to complete your orders"

"He only delivered sixty sacks of rices and twenty sacks of salts" The man said

"So where did he expect me to get the remaining fourty sacks of rice from?" The Dowager asked

"I don't know" He replied

"What about the remaining twelve kingdoms?"

"Have they all delivered my orders?" The Dowager asked

"Yes" He replied

"I'll forgive King Leonard for failing to complete my orders only because of my grandson" The Dowager said

"You are so merciful your majesty" One of the men said

"James" The Dowager called

"Yes Your Majesty" One of the guards that was standing beside The Dowager said

"Share fourty sacks of rice and five sacks of salts to the citizens of Goldenville" The Dowager said

"Okay Your Majesty" James said

"You are so kind Your Majesty" Another said

"That's all for today"

"I'll send for you guys if I have any other matter to discuss" The Dowager said

       Then she stood up and walked.

NOTE: 

---Goldenville is a kingdom

---While Goldenville Empire consist of the thirteen kingdoms including Goldenville,That means there are fourteen kingdoms in Goldenville empire

---When talking about Goldenville empire,They are equalling talking about all the kingdoms including Goldenville

---Goldenville is ruled by an Emperor,While the rest kingdoms are ruled by kings and queens

---The Emperor of Goldenville rules his own kingdom and the other kingdoms so for short he rules the whole of Goldenville empire

---There are other empires with their own emperors too
