The Stories
With everyone finally together in one place, Anja and Ilona set the younger children to rest on the blankets in front of the fire with their cups of warm tea, while the older siblings gathered around the tables. Anja sent Ilona, Mason, Nick, Jamie, and Sam Thatch to change out of their soaked clothing while she started a pot of fish soup on the stove with the catch that had been brought in that morning.
Once in dry clothing with their hair mostly dried, Ilona and Mason rejoined the group, finding the other three men had already made their way back. They settled in on a bench between Nick and Jamie, Ian and Isaac sitting across from them.
