"I will just rinse the glasses before we retire for the night," Bella said as she picked up the glasses, ignoring Dan's outstretched hand.

"Alright then," Dan said as he picked up the bottle of wine, and they both headed for the kitchen.

When they walked into the kitchen, Bella went straight to the sink and quickly rinsed out both glasses with soap, while Dan returned the bottle of wine to the bar before returning to stand by the door, where he watched Bella as he waited for her to finish.

After washing the glasses, she dried them with a neat napkin and walked over to one of the cabinets where she had seen Dan take out those particular glasses from. She stretched on her toes so she could open the cabinet and drop the wine glasses.

"I should help with that," Dan said as he took quick strides toward her and reached out from behind her to take the glasses from her.
