"Ben!" Bella exclaimed the moment the door opened, and Ben walked inside the house looking like he had only been out for a stroll in the park. She quickly embraced him and held him very tightly to herself. She had been waiting for his return for over three hours since she left the pawn shop.
"I think I should be kidnapped more often since it makes you worry like this," Ben said with a teasing smile, making Bella pull away from him and hit his arm.
"Don't ever joke about something like that! I couldn't sleep or even eat. I was very worried," She said, making him give her an apologetic smile.
"I'm sorry I got you very worried," He said as he walked further into the house while she followed from behind. Thankfully it was still work hours, and their parents were still at the restaurant, oblivious to whatever was going on with their children.
