"What, you don't believe me"

The Old man tilted his head looking at the disbelieving youth with a slight smile on his face.

"Alright to begin with, the me you see now is but a mere life projection"

"Life projection..... what does that mean"

"It means the real me should probably be dead. Take what you see now as a something sort of a recording the real person left behind to answer some questions you may have"

"I don't understand... questions on what"

"You haven't realized have you"

Allan felt his mind was spinning in circles, couldn't this guy be less ambiguous for once. Forcefully, he gritted his teeth and asked

"Realized what old man"

Naturally, the old man had noticed the youth's agitation so he answered straightforward this time.

"You have experienced what we call a genetic modification except this modification was a bit extreme this time.

Naturally you might not be aware of this but years ago you were given a very important gift , a product of over a hundred years worth of research. It was called the Primordial Reconstruction Unit.

What this Unit does, in summary, is to completely destroy every single aspect of it's host that makes it bound by universal limitations and laws and carefully reconstruct it free from these limitations. That includes the host's body systems, organs, all the way down to the atomic structure. The aim of this research was to create a fully transcendent being free from mortal shackles."

Allan stared dumbfounded at the old man as he spoke, his eyes wide with disbelief. This was just too much for him to take in, but even with the thousands of questions that had formulated in his mind, he patiently waited for the old man to finish without disrupting him.

"While the destruction process is fairly quick, the reconstruction process is a bit time consuming."

The boy felt worried when he heard that so he quickly asked

"What do you mean by that"

"What I mean to say is that the reconstruction process isn't instantaneous but stretches over a period of time.

Breaking free from universal limitations naturally means you won't be depending on the universe for survival so you must know that the reconstruction unit is also an energy source.

During the reconstruction process, the nano cells of the unit construct an energy passageway through out the entire body. Think of it as energy veins to help distribute the external energy contained in the unit to the entire body.

Releasing all the energy contained in the unit at once will definitely make you explode so it has to be released in quantities for the body to get used to it and that process is the time consuming aspect

Well that's it any questions?"

Allan asked the first question that had been bothering him he entire time

"If all you are telling me is true then why would anyone give me something important just like that"

"Smart question kid, but I never said it was given to you for free. Naturally there's a price'

"What's the price"

Allan quickly asked.

"Don't be in a rush, you'll know when you get stronger"

The old man casually brushed the matter aside and asked the youth playfully

"Don't you want to know the changes this has made to your body"
