Moving again!

I don't know when we started doing this, but all I know is that we have been running from something or someone. After the incident that happened when I was eight, my Mom and I have been moving from one country to another, from one town and city to another. She'll always tell me that, "they are coming" she doesn't always explain it in details, but it doesn't matter anyway as am already used to it.

We have been moving since I was eight so it's nothing new the only hurtful part is moving without a reasonable reason.

My name is Nicole am 18, I stay with my mom, she's practically the only one I have. My dad died when she was still pregnant, at least that's what she told me. Did I mention that am antisocial? Because I think I am. I wasn't like that before but after moving all the time, I figured it will be best not to have any friends at all.

Once I manage to make some friends, I end up hurt. Leaving them behind when we move, I can't figure out what could be more hurtful than the feelings that comes during and after goodbyes. Right now am in our car, my mom is driving, according to her she has already sent my transfer letter to my new school.

People think that my family are tourists, as I have been a transfer student all my life. Well we're not we're just moving because my mother said it's for my own good. Honestly I think in twenty years time we would be able to go round the whole world… all of it. Not that am going to stay with her till twenty years though.

"Are we there yet?" I asked frustrated. "Just have patience my little rose we're almost there, just wait a few more minutes" she said.

Gosh am having leg cramps already. Though I have a feeling that we're going to stay here for a long time because this place is different from all the other places we've been, I feel more relaxed. And there have been so many weird thing in my life but nothing can be more weirder than the feeling I got from the moment we entered this town.

All I've been seeing is an endless line of woods in both sides of the road. After an hour of driving we entered the normal town areas with houses, stores, motels and all.

The town was reather very big but in terms of beauty and all, I would prefer the city, but this remote town is also beautiful in it's own way. Like the endless greenery and the hmmm not so clear sky. Finally we arrived at our new home and I was pleasantly surprised.

It's a small house actually but I love it. It has one room upstairs and that's definitely mine. the house entrance is dwarfly fenced with flowers, leaving only the part that leads to the door. There is no gate though, which is fine.

Then on the inside there are only three rooms. The two rooms are down stairs and the other room is small and cozy it's part of the roof though. And It's perfect, I hope we stay longer this time.

"Am staying up stairs!" I said with excitement. My mom frowned "you know the rules right?" She asked "yes am supposed to stay close to you at all times to be safer, I know alright." I answered. "But don't you think me staying upstairs is much safer." I asked because am not giving up that room no matter what.

"fine you can have the room, but isn't it a little small?" My mother asked me. "No, it's perfect." I said.

We spent some hours unpacking and cleaning. The house still needs some work though because all the rooms needs to be repainted.

That's not my work anyway, mom will have to find a painter or something but that's until later, for now I'll have to stroll around then tomorrow I'll have to check in, for school.

"Mom am going out for a while, I'll be back in a jiffy!" I shouted out to my mom who was cleaning up the kitchen. "But sweetheart isn't it a bit late already, aren't you tired from the long trip?" She asked. You have no idea mom but I still want to go outside and look around. And besides I have leg cramps. So I told her. "No mom am okay, I won't stray too far I just need to stretch out a bit." I said. "Well alright, but don't go to far so you don't get lost!"

My neighborhood is great, the houses aren't in clusters but they also aren't too far apart, and as I walk down the streets I see new faces. It looks like the whole town is surrounded by woods.

I kept on walking until my legs hurt, I became tired so I decided to go back home. I walked a good fifteen minutes before I noticed that… I was lost, shit!

What is our address again, right! I can't remember. This is bad, I should have just listened to mom and rested, and gods! It's getting late. The temperature dropped a few degrees too.

This is bad I have to get home before dark or else mom is gonna go crazy. I hastened up, after a few minutes I went all out to a full blown Sprint.

I kept running I didn't even care about anything thing else but the houses on the streets, until I ran headfast into something probably a wall. But the arms that enclosed my waist and stopped me from falling back probably to my death, convinced me otherwise.

"Are you okay?" I heard a husky voice ask above, I felt his breath hit my forehead making me blink for a few seconds. Then I slowly opened my eyes only to see a rock hard well muscled chest!
