1 Chapter 1: I died and got reincarnated?!

I opened my eyes and woke in an unfamiliar room.

Argh.. where am I?

I slowly get up and gently rubbed my beautiful face.

How did my hair be this long? I remember having a short hair.

My skin is pale and I feel like I'm very thin!

Was I sleeping for a long time? I can't remember what happened to me..

I stood up and look around to inspect the whole room.

It's huge but dirty and shabby. I have my condo but it's not like this. My room was clean and surrounded by fragrance.

Did someone kidnapped me?!

This room, the table, the bed, the sofa, everything in this room is ugly!

How can someone gave me a room like this?! It should be more fancier and more elegant room! I was kidnapped but that doesn't mean I forgot about my living standards!

I heard a noise outside. It's as if someone is running towards my room.

I looked for a mirror to see what had happened to my face.

I saw a round mirror and it was lying on the floor

I can barely see my face because of its excessive dirt! What a mess ~3~

I took a cloth inside the cabinet and wiped the ass out of this freaking mirror.

When I finished wiping it, I put it on my face to see what happened.

As I faced the mirror, I heard a knock outside the room.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I shouted and threw the mirror off.

As I shouted, the huge door of my room opened

"Milady! What's wrong?!" a girl said.

I was crying so hard while remembering what my face looked like.

"W-why... How did I became like this... My face... Why am I so ugly?" I said while still crying.

I lost my body figure and my beautiful face. I feel like I've been reborn into someone else's body ToT

"You! Who on earth are you?!" I asked the girl in front of me.

Her face looks tired and her hands are full of bruises. Her clothes is way uglier than mine.

"You haven't eaten for days. Please eat this bread that I got from the kitchen" she said and smiled.

"Why would I eat a food that you st—" my tummy growled.

W-whaAaaaaat! This is embarassing! Me? A goddess? A growling tummy? What the hell?!

I had nj choice but to eat the bread that she was offering me.

While I was eating I heard the her stomach also rumble so I looked at her.

"U-uh, this is nothing milady. I'm having a stomachache from what I ate before hehe. Continue eating" she said.

I split the bread into two and gave it to her. She was about to complain but I rolled my eyes and started eating again.

After eating, I sat on the sofa and rested. This is too much for my beauty.

She called me 'your highness' before. So it means that I'm living in someone else's body?

Is this some sort of reincarnation? My head can't process all of this.

"Tell me your name." I said.

"P-pardon milady?"

"I said tell me your name. Don't make me repeat myself again" I repeated.

"E-Ellena. I'm your maid servant" she said.

All I can remember is, I did my skin care routine and went to my bed and fell asleep.

Did I die? Yes I must've died. I died because I was too beautiful. Maybe that's my great sin.

"Why am I living in this kind of place? What did I do?" I asked my maid.

She was shock and couldn't say anything.

"My, my. What happen to you, milady?" she asked and was about to cry.

"Perhaps I forgot who I am because of this kind of surrounding. I couldn't even stand this smelly room" I said.

"His majesty, the Emperor had stripped you from your position as an Empress and demoted you into a lower rank concubine" she said.

What! I was an Empress?! Maybe.. Maybe I was too beautiful that I was removed from being an Empress because a lot of people envy my beauty? :3

"What a foolish man. Why would he do such thing to me?" I was irritated while she was telling me that.

"But the child that consort Beatrice is carrying will be the first child of the Emperor. It was such a big mess when the doctor said that she... she miscarriaged"

"Ohhh.. Then what was her reaction after that?" I asked.

"She cried and told the Emperor that she couldn't stand the sight of seeing the murderer of her child so she suggested to move you far from the palace since the emperor doesn't grant her request to exile you from the country"

"Ohhh. I see. That's why we are living here.. for how many months?"

"It's been 5 months. The cook does not even give milady a food and no one is fixing this place."

"How did we even survive?"

"That's... The food that I was getting from the kitchen is enough for milady.. I go their daily to get food" she said.

"Okay. I'll go in the palace tomorrow and talk to my husband" I said.

I rolled my eyes and told her that she can rest in her room.
