7. Shi Yu's rebirth

This was due to her hidden identity as Ina, the world's most sought after miracle doctor. Nobody had ever seen Ina's face or knew her identity, it was only known that Ina was a member of the Lee family.

Powerful doctors were the most revered by everyone especially the rich who are constantly afraid of dying. Since then, the Lee family's status kept rising by bounds, rubbing shoulder to shoulders with the top affluent families. 

 Their businesses ranged from medicine, real estate, IT etc with many subsidiaries scattered all over the world.

 It wasn't until 3 years later that Kimberly recovered from the amnesia.

 Even so, she had never thought of going back to her country much less acknowledge her past.

To her, Zhao Ning was already dead while Kimberly Lee was born. 

Unfortunately, her adoptive parents died in a car accident 5 years later after her adoption while on a humanitarian mission as doctors in a warring country.

 Kimberly only returned to her home country, Continent M one year later (present day) to search for a rare herb to concot a type of special medicine for her bedridden aunt.

 Unfortunately after the death of her adoptive parents, the Lee family members shed their skins turning into greedy wolves and hungry hyenas by plotting to murder her and take every wealth for themselves.

Knowing that she had discovered their plot, Kimberly was poisoned the previous night by being locked in a room full of poisonous gas while doing an experiment. They wanted it to look like a lab accident. 

To her luck, she survived but her body was severely harmed.

 Unfortunately, she had no idea that her beloved aunt whom she was trying her best to save, who made her come back to the country that had greatly wounded her to search for the rare herb, had teamed up with her beloved younger sister, Andrea Lee who was adopted 2 years later to keep her company, and the other greedy Lees to give her (Kim Lee) a final blow and send her to hell.

 Kimberly accidentally drank drugged water due to her weakened senses after the previous poisoning. 

Getting on the helicopter, she was on her way to search for the rare herb that was located in a very remote island called Ghost Island.

Although she was aware that boarding the helicopter was a trap to kill her, with no ready back up coupled with her weak and defenceless body, she needed to first escape the heavily guarded mansion where she had been locked up then find a chance to jump out of the flying helicopter before it crashed.

 Sadly, the effects of the drug, coupled with the previous poisoning overwhelmed her thus she died inside the helicopter giving Shi Yu a chance to be reborn.

 Shi Yu's eyes suddenly became cold. What she detested the most were greedy and ungrateful bastards!

 Having also died of the same reason, being betrayed for money, Shi Yu sneered. She'd make all those bastards have a fate worse than death. She was no longer the naive & lovestruck Shi Yu of the past.

Having gone to even the 30th century, to her, this was nothing but a child's play.

 She raised her hand and touched the ordinary looking face, her lips curled up into a bloodthirsty smile. She discovered that it was a skin mask on her face.

 In the Zhao family, Zhao Ning had always been forced to hide her peerless face since childhood by her parents to avoid stealing the limelight for her eldest sister Zhao Meihui, who was loved the most in the family.

Later, in order to avoid revealing her whereabouts to those who tried to assassinate her 6 years ago and to hide her various identities, she continued to use skin masks hiding her true face.

 Apart from her adoptive parents, no one including every Lee family members, even her adopted sister had ever seen her real face.

No one had an idea that beneath the layer of masks laid a powerful attractive face unparalleled to none.

 Shi Yu raised her dim eyes with a hint of coldness as they bore at the back of the pilot who was secretly loading a gun. Her aura was full of Killing intent as her entire person was covered in frost.

 She slowly closed her eyes.

 Shi Yu was dead, Zhao Ning maybe gone but she was now Kimberly Lee. She had arose from the dead in order to eliminate evil from the face of the earth.

 Let the game begin!!

 With the killing intent around her intensifying, Kim Lee quickly undone her seatbelt alerting the unsuspecting pilot. Before he could turn his head or wonder why the drug hadn't worked on her, Kim Lee flicked her wrist and the pilot's gun suddenly appeared on her hand. The pilot froze and his eyes widened in shock and disbelief feeling a chill in his spine.

 Ghost!

 Otherwise how did the gun suddenly move on its own? 

He shuddered as his former vicious gaze towards Kim Lee turned into extreme fear. Kimberly's lips curved up coldly.

The neglected helicopter turned wobbly and began to fly unconventionally dangerously.

 " Y-you please..."

 Bang!!

 Kim Lee ruthlessly fired the trigger on his head unready to be disgusted by his sick pleas. It was common nature for human beings to step on the weak and fear the powerful. Would he have let her go if she didn't have a bit of strength?

 Even if Shi Yu didn't have any strength of herself, the Lees were stupid to think that the host was a naive pushover. 

How could Kim Lee a hidden female boss of a powerful mercenary organization be a pushover? 

 Nevertheless, the host's only weakness was being too emotional, turning a blind eye on those greedy wolves time and time again in the name of belonging to the same family.

No wonder she died. Kim Lee scoffed internally. She knew that the Lees wouldn't do something as simple as hiring a pilot to shoot her. They would never do something and leave evidence behind. The helicopter must have been tampered with.

And sure enough, being a martial artist, her hearing was above normal thus she could hear a faint ticking sound.

 The helicopter was flying dangerously from right to left unmanned thus could crash at anytime soon while a bomb was ticking second by second.

 When she had snatched the gun from the pilot, she had realized that her superpowers had transmigrated with her thus jumping from a flying helicopter wasn't something that a person like her who could teleport had to worry about.

 Being a former ancient high priestess sure wasn't a bad thing.

The only con was that her body was really weak especially due to the poisoning.

 Kimberly pulled open the door and took a deep breath before suddenly leaping into the air seconds before the helicopter exploded with a deafening bang emitting thick smoke and red flames of fire. Flying debris passed above Kim Lee's head in a respectful manner as she slowly descended down the Earth's surface. Anyone who'd witness the scene would instantly feel his scalp tingle.

 " Damn it! " Kimberly dragged her injured foot as she limped towards the inner thick forest. She was in the middle of a primitive forest that was located on an inhabited island, the Ghost Island. She was precisely in the middle of a lost jungle that expanded to thousands of acres. Apart from vicious wild animals that inhabited the jungle, there wasn't a single soul near the area.

On one part it was the huge jungle while on the other side she was surrounded by the vast and endless ocean waters. There was simply no way out for her.

Tsk, the Lee family was really determined to give their all. 

Unfortunately, they encountered Shi Yu, a 30th century mercenary and an ancient high priestess, who had transversed through thick jungles and deep oceans.

 Due to the body's weakness, she had sprained her ankle and suffered some superficial injuries while making a landing on the ground.

Despite the injuries, Kim Lee nimbly moved her body with experience evading the helicopter that was circling above the tall trees.

 It seemed that the Lees would only be able to relax once they confirmed that she had turned into ashes. Kimberly's eyes turned chilly clenching her fists.

Well and good!

 After a couple of hours, Kim resting under a tree expressionlessly watched as the helicopter took off from the island. 

There was no hurry. She'd come for them one by one . 

Right now what she cared the most was finding drinking water and something to eat. She also needed to find somewhere to sleep for the night lest she became a delicious meal for the world animals.

Looking at the sky that was slowly turning dark, Kim sighed lamenting about why she had to be transmigrated at such a situation.
