I Want Her As The Female Lead

In the airport, Lin Yue pressed down her hat and walked closely behind her manager.

Lin Yue, a 28 years old rising star in the movie industry won the Brightest Star movie awards for best female lead after she debuted last year. She played the main character and female lead in the country's most popular movie, The Citizen. Ever since then, her popularity had been sky high.

"Don't worry.... no one will recognize you" Li Jie said

"That's easy for you to say" Lin Yue said as they both walked towards the car that was waiting for them. Inside the car, Lin Yue rested her head on the glass as she looked outside. It has been three years since she left country L, X city and nothing seemed to have changed. She closed her eyes as her memory went back to what happened three years ago in Spain.

After giving birth to her baby, Lin Yue held her in her arms as she played with her and hummed sweetly to her little daughter.

"She's very beautiful" a voice said as Lin Yue quickly raised up her head.

"Mom" she said happily. Mu Li walked happily towards her daughter and her granddaughter.

Seeing her small and innocent face, Mu Li laughed with joy.

As if noticing the people around her, the little girl opened her eyes slowly and curved her lips into a beautiful smile before closing her eyes and lips returned back to the original position.

This simple gesture made her mother and grandmother's hear melt.

"We are here" Li Jie said to Lin Yue who slowly opened the door and came down from the car. Li Jie's phone started ringing, she quickly took the call as she and Lin Yue walked towards the building.

"What?!!.... when?.... how come?!"

"OK... I'll be there right away" Li Jie said as she quickly put her phone inside her bag.

"What happened?.... is there something wrong?" Lin Yue asked.

"Yes.... but don't worry about it..... I have to head over to VK now.... I will explain everything to you later..... just go in and get some rest" Li Jie said as she handed the keys to Lin Yue and left quickly. Lin Yue couldn't imagine what it was that got Li Jie so tensed up. She entered the elevator.

Few seconds later, she arrived at her apartment. She went inside and locked the door. She went straight to the bedroom, threw her purse on the bed and went into the bathroom to take a shower.

At VK, reporters swarmed the place waiting to hear the latest information on the situation on ground. A press conference was held in VK's conference room officially announcing that GE group , the most powerful and influential business empire in the country would be taking over VK.

This came as a shock to everyone because throughout the years, GE group never had interest in the entertainment industry so it raised a lot of questions as to why GE group would suddenly take over VK.

After the press conference, all the staffs and non staff were asked to greet the new boss.

A tall, strong man with deep and stunning facial features with well built body walked towards the line of people bowing their heads. The first person to greet him was producer Feng along with director Song.

"President Qin" Ye Zhenzhen, a popular actress in the country called out joyfully as she walked gracefully towards Qin Yuchen, smiling happily.

She hadn't taken more than two steps as she got closer to Qin Yuchen when two serious looking bodyguards blocked her. She frowned at them but quickly put on a smile when looked at Qin Yuchen. As she met his cold dark eyes, she could feel the the icy aura that surrounded him. Her hear started beating out of fear but she quickly gathered enough courage.

"ah..... president Qin....I personally came to congratulate you on acquiring VK" Ye Zhenzhen said with a beautiful smile on her face.

"Ugh... what is she doing here?"

"Didn't you hear her.... she came to 'personally congratulate' president Qin"

"Why did she dress up like we're having a party?.....my eyes are going blind."

"She is such an eyesore".

The people there couldn't help but whisper secretly in annoyance.

Qin Yuchen looked at her and with a with a deep and cold voice, he asked

"Who are you?". Everyone was shocked by this sudden question. Surely he must be joking because even a two years old child knows who Ye Zhenzhen is.

The truth is that Qin Yuchen never paid attention to any news coming out from the entertainment industry, he was never interested until now.

"President Qin must be so busy that must be why he doesn't know me" Ye Zhenzhen said as she laughed trying to console herself.

"President Qin.... this is Ye Zhenzhen, she's a top actress in the country" producer Feng said.

"So?" Qin Yuchen asked as he moved his eyes away from producer Feng and looked at Li Jie. Li Jie saw that Qin Yuchen was looking at her, she quickly bowed her head. Qin Yuchen walked towards her, Li Jie's hand began sweating.

"President Qin this is Li Jie..... she is Lin Yue manager.... Lin Yue is....." director Song didn't finish his sentence when Qin Yuchen interrupted.

"I know" he said in his usual cold tone.

"For Fierce Heart, I want her to be the female lead".

Since there were no other actors there Ye Zhenzhen naturally thought she was the one Qin Yuchen was speaking to.

"Thank you president Qin....I....."

"Director Song will give you the script.....tell Lin Yue to come here on Thursday" Qin Yuchen said.

This simple statement raised a lot of eyebrows.

"what connection could Lin Yue possibly have with president Qin?"

"I don't understand....why would he give the role to Lin Yue?"

"Do you even need to ask.... Lin Yue's acting is way much better compared to this Ye Zhenzhen"
