Life is full of the unexpected

...

At an upscale Korean restaurant,

Xiao Lei was enjoying her dinner with President Wei. The man had ordered a lot of food, and apparently, he enjoyed the food just as much as Xiao Lei.

"My wife never lets me eat to my heart's content," President Wei said as he lifted a lightly seared piece of wagyu and placed it on his plate. "If she were here now, she would definitely scold me for eating this."

"She's just worried about you, I'm sure," Xiao Lei replied with a smile before putting a thin slice of fully-cooked wagyu in her mouth. Even though she felt pity that she could not eat those that President Wei was eating, but when she thought about her twins, whom she would see in a few months' time, she felt better.

As she was chewing, her eyes wandered around the cozy restaurant, and that was when she saw a familiar figure walking toward her, and she couldn't help but narrow her eyes as her hands, which were holding the utensils, stopped moving.
