14 Chapter 14 – Robin’s reasons

The villa looked as neat as always and there was the aroma of Robin's favorite pasta. He loved the familiar scent and sauntering to the dining table, he saw the steaming pasta, just the way Sabrina used to cook it.

He sat on the chair, his eyes on the pasta, and was about to pick the cutlery but was curious about the cook. His eyes darted here and there but there was no sign of her. 'Where is she?' Robin asked himself and slowly dropped the cutlery.

"Sabrina, are you back? You know I miss you right?"

He did not care that he said it openly and anyone might hear it including the maids. There was no response but he heard movements from the kitchen, beginning to walk towards it. He stopped at the entrance when he saw her back turned.

"Did you hear what I said? I said I missed you." He never said such words to her before and was expecting her reaction. He saw Sabrina turn around and smile. She began to speak but the sound of her voice sounded different.
