23 Chapter 23: The Day Before Internships
A/N: Changed the hero name to 'The Limitless Hero: Mugen', combining suggestions of peoples comments into something I like.
P.S. This a short chapter compared to most of the other ones as the main thing about this chapter is the voting at the end of the chapter.

It was now the end of school (Saturday), the final day the class would see each other before they're off a whole week for their internships with their chosen heroes.
Ren and the other 1-A students entered the faculty office one by one where they handed in their piece of paper with their chosen hero they wanted to intern with on it.
"And... you're sure this is the choice you want to make?" Aizawa asked in clarification as he sipped his coffee while peering over Ren's choice occasionally, "You don't want to regret your choice" He said as he placed his cup of coffee down on his table.
"I'm sure" Ren replied with a confident smile, "If it isn't helpful, then... well, it is what it is" He shrugged which caused Aizawa to groan.
"Haahh..." He sighed, "Alright then... you can go home now" Aizawa finished as he shooed Ren out of the faculty office.
"Oh, hey guys! Didn't think you;d waited for me" Ren exclaimed as he dapped up his friend group who had waited outside for him.
"So, who did you pick?" Tokoyami asked Ren as the gang walked together. They all knew who everyone chose, except for Ren's choice.
"Secret" Ren answered as he put his index finger to his mouth, "Nah, just kidding... I chose-" He said his answer.
"How'd you decided that then?" Kirishima asked.
"Random number generator" Ren laughed, causing the guys to look at him with baffled expressions, "What?"
"You jokin'?" Kaminari asked in concern of his friend's choice.
"No... I couldn't decide, so I just did a random number generator and I let fate decide" Ren gave a thumbs-up, ignoring the looks of 'Are you serious/dumb?' from the others.
After that, the boys spent a few more hours hanging out and chatting before they split and went their separate ways back home.
'Hmm...' As Ren arrived home, he hummed to himself before taking his phone out his pocket and clicking on a new contact of his with the name "Mei 'Babies' Hatsume".
The call got picked up as the two spent a few minutes talking about something which would be revealed/made clear later on before Ren ended the call.
'About time I got that problem solved... hopefully it turns out well' He thought as he took a picture of something he drew and labelled before sending it to Mei, 'Done! Now I've just gotta wait 'til tomorrow morning - she said'
And so, he finished the day by doing a 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10 second jog on the spot before going to sleep.
Waking up, it was officially Sunday, a.k.a the final chill day before the internships would start for the students.
'Hm... now that I think about it, I haven't seen Nejire in a while' Ren realised as he privately messaged Nejire and asked if she wanted to hang out.
"[Sorry... I'm busy]" Ren read out loud, though he knew it was a lie, 'She usually says 'I'm sorry', 'sorry' usually means she's not sorry in other words she's lying... but what part's the lie?' He wondered.
"Uh oh... does she hate me!?" He jumped on his bed in a panic.
- Meanwhile, with Nejire -
Nejire could be seen laying on her bed while banging her head against the pillow repeatedly.
"..." Yuyu, who slept round Nejire's last night, looked at her best friend and wondered, 'What the hell is wrong with this chick'
"I'm so stupidstupidstupid" Nejire repeated with tears threatening to fall down her face as she kicked her legs up and down.
"I know you are" Yuyu nodded with a blunt response, causing Nejire to throw her venting pillow at Yuyu's face, "WHAT THE FUCK!?" Yuyu shouted as she gripped the pillow super hard, causing Nejire to hide underneath her bed cover, "Haahh..." Yuyu sighed before sitting beside Nejire who remained laying down.
"So, what stupid thing did you do this time?" Yuyu asked. Seeing Nejire holding her unlocked phone out, she took it and looked at the message Ren had sent and Nejire's reply, "...
Are you special?" Yuyu groaned as she face palmed, "Why would you say that?!"
"I-I panicked! It's not my fault!" Nejire exclaimed with a cry, stealing her pillow back from Yuyu's grasp to hide her embarrassed expression.
"Jesus, Nejire... you're a third-year with a crush for crying out loud, yet you're acting like a middle schooler with a crush" Yuyu stated, not helping Nejire's mood as she pouted sadly, "There there..." Yuyu couldn't resist patting her friend's head in a motherly manner, "You're still stupid though" She bonked her head softly, earning a light "Ow..." from Nejire as they spent the next few minutes having a girl talk.
- Back with Ren -
"Okay, I'm good now" He muttered to himself as he sat down at a table with a small, nutritious breakfast for himself, "Food solves any problem" He gave his thanks for the good food and chowed down, engulfing it all in mere seconds, "Ahh... that was nice"
He then rested for about 30 minutes or so before getting changed into his gym wear and heading to the gym by himself with his music plugged in.
As he entered the gym, he saw Kirishima showing Ashido some bicep workouts as they laughed and seemed like they were having a good time overall.
'You know what... go get yo girl, bro!' Ren rooted internally as he avoided the cute pair by heading upstairs to do his workouts of the day there, 'Wait, when'd he renew his membership?-'.
After finishing his workout, Ren headed back home when he took a nice, hot bath to cool off.
The remaining hours of the day zoomed past as Ren eventually fell asleep, excited for (Hopefully) entertainment that the week starting tomorrow would bring.
As he woke up, he opened up his phone to see a message from Mei which told him to meet her at the school gates at 8:20am, 5 minutes before homeroom.
With that, he quickly got changed into his school uniform and did his morning routine before heading over to UA where he saw Mei waiting at the school gates with a metal briefcase.
"You're here, finally!" Mei waved enthusiastically with a big smile and dust on her face, "Here's what you ordered!" She said as she handed Ren the briefcase.
He opened the briefcase to see 9 things: 3 black blindfolds, 3 white blindfolds, and 3 stylish black sunglasses.
"Are they like how I asked them to be designed?" Ren asked as he closed the briefcase and held it in one hand.
"Yup! They're made like you asked: People looking at you aren't able to see your eyes when you're wearing them, but you're able to see everything perfectly fine" She replied as she held her hand out, "The money" She said with a tilt of her head.
"Here here" Ren gave her the money he had in his pocket, "And thanks, these'll be useful" He thanked as he walked past Mei and headed to the boys toilets.
He quickly put on a white blindfold with his [Six Eyes] activated and saw his eyesight being the exact same. He then turned them off, his eyes returning to their original brown colour, and saw his vision was perfectly normal. "Niceeee!" He cheered with a giddy smile as he put the blindfold back in the briefcase.
He shoved the briefcase forcefully into his bag before heading to his class.

A/N: Basically, Ren finally got things to cover his eyes. However, what I came up with was the blindfold being made see-through. This is because any eyes other than Six Eyes (So far) would be unable to see through an actual blindfold, so yeah. Hope that makes sense.
