I don’t know how I missed the gem of a story for so long, but discovering this kept me from sleeping last night and I binge-read through up until today 5/18(162). The statistics, particularly in the beginning, sort of break the fourth wall for me, taking me out of the story, and could stand some rework for flow, but are relatively easy for me to translate and the plot and story crafting I s stellar. My biggest complaint, as always, is that there isn’t more RIGHT NOW. Keep doing the impossible and write more/better/faster.
A great novel, giving an in depth world of magic with understandable power system. Even characters that are seemingly temporary or unimportant are given their places in lore. Main characters are deep and colorful, and bring you back constantly to find out more. My favorite story on webnovel! I hope you enjoy it too!
Novel is interesting and different enough to make it stand out. The constant switch of view point is something I had not seem much of, still deciding if the interest from multiple storylines out ways the somewhat disjointed experience. The two biggest issues that I have are lack of a glossary or other explanation of new terms and abbreviations. This made early chapters very difficult to read. 2nd issue was that early chapters lacked in writing and editing quality. This has mostly been corrected in newer chapters.
Heavy on the DnD terminology, which, I don't understand. Thankfully it can be glossed over in most cases. The biggest gripe is the very consistent use of the word 'then' instead of 'than'. It is VERY jarring and interrupts immersion greatly. Other than that, one of the best litrpgs I've ever read period.
