CHAPTER 5
" You just have no idea what you've gotten yourself into ." He said . "You ACTUALLY traded yourself for that old man!!" He was laughing now . The room I tied myself in was small and crowded with racks of unwanted shits that could fall on me any second. What he did next was out of the blue. He took his mask off , right in front of me !!
I thought that he wanted to keep his identity a secret but I guess he doesn't feel the same way . He was an average looking, fit man , probably my same age . But I had no idea on why he just showed himself to me . Laughing like a maniac , he looked at me . " I know who you're trying to find but I suggest you to let your boss take that death track . I have nothing to do with his son's killings . I'm merely trying to save you here." And I thought that he could do something to us because he was related . " Then why are acting as if you're my BOSS?? "
He smiled at me . But the smile was warm this time. "You COULD say that I kind of stalked you from when you started working with your boss ." I just couldn't understand his reason for stalking me, OR saving me if that's what you call the situation I was in now . "Free me then . I need enough evidence to start trusting you ." To my surprise , He actually untied the ropes and walked away . Why would he do that after showing himself to me ??? I didn't know whether I was allowed to go out so I went to the front door . Unfortunately the door was locked . " Remember Rene , You traded yourself so even if I wanted to , I will keep you here . You're still free to do whatever you want." He finished talking wearing the smile a host would give to it's guest . As if he was harmless !!! I knew nothing about him and I didn't want any trouble so I went to the room I was given. Thank fully , he doesn't want me as a servant or slave so I can stay peacefully .

12 in the morning. I still couldn't get my sleep . I even locked the bedroom door to feel safe , but the image of him braking my front door open and my brain just refuses to shut down . I went down to drink some water because I was thirsty. Walking down the stairs , I saw two shadows in the kitchen . The lights were switched on too . But I thought that the man was the only resident in this house?? Curiousity pulled me towards those two people . The first person turned out to be that man himself . They looked like making out at first glance. Disgusted , I was about to walk away when I heard sobs from the woman he was with . I looked bac and screamed as luad as I could . That man was actually biting her neck , not to create a mark , but to actually drink her blood like a meal . Two of his teeth were out of his mouth . I concluded that vampires were indeed real . And I had to find a way to get out of his house before he takes me as his meal too .
My scream had attracted attention from him and I could see blood dripping down from his long and sharp red teeth . He wasn't shocked though. But I wasn't going to stay near this monster to find that out and then get killed . I grabbed a baseball bat that was in the way whule running and ran to the closest window . He was running behind me and I could feel that he was faster than normal humans . I had no time . I only got to buy a few seconds for myself because he had that body to take care of without creating a mess .
Breaking the window , I jumped out of it and fell . There were some cuts in hands and legs from scratching on the broken glass . I ran but as I had expected , he had caught up with me using his inhuman speed and stopped me from moving even an inch . "Leave me alone you monster!!!" I cried to him . I wouldn't even think about crying for help because his house was located in the middle of nowhere. My phone was taken by him before letting me go on my own .
I was helpless because I couldn't fight someone who wasn't even human . He wouldn't die and I wasn't entirely sure that the theories on how to kill vampires in the books that I read are even true . Loosing hope , I slumped on his arms . "Don't worry . I wouldn't want to hurt YOU." He whispered into my ear . The cuts on my body were deep and bleeding too much. He looked at them and licked his lips. He won't be able to control himself . His face was turning into a map showing the veins of his whole face , and body if he wasn't wearing fully covered clothes.
He leaned towards me while I was fighting between two choices to choose so as to save myself ..........
