A clever plan.

Lu Lann seeing there was no response, this time raised her voice a little while knocking.

"Sister, open the door, I am back."

-Lu Lann spoke in a very gentle and soft tone.

This time the door of the house opened abruptly.

A little girl, about 12 years old, flung like a sparrow in Lu Lann's arms.

Even though the girl's body was thin and somewhat malnourished, on seeing her innocent oval face with those sparkling eyes, one could instantly tell she was untainted by any worldly malice.

-Lu Lann patted her back with one hand as with the other she rubbed her hairs.

"Sister, people have been knocking on the door constantly. They keep demanding money but we have nothing to give. The uncle who was earlier at the door shouted that he will put our entire family in jail."
