22 Passive Skill: Supreme Body

Vi, who was standing still and leaning behind the door, had a darkened expression overwhelming his face. He knew it! His elder sister, who displayed such a lively character in his presence, was really way too weak who couldn't contain her tears at all when he wasn't around. She only appeared strong in front of him so as to not worry him, her younger brother.

"Damn you all, Tyrannical Overlords! I swear, I will take you down someday for hurting my big sister." Vi cursed in his heart as he finally took a step forward and went in the direction of his personal gaming capsule. His pure black eyes were sharp, a cold glint flashed in a faint luster.

He didn't delay a single moment as he got into the game capsule. He wore the game helmet as the capsule closed the next instant.

And right after that, Vi found himself at the place where he had logged out before. A system notification immediately obstructed his sight to greet him.

Vi didn't put any attention to the system notification though. He instead swept his gaze at his surroundings as the system notification disappeared the next moment.

"Hmm... I wonder where this path could possibly lead me..." Vi muttered in a low voice after scanning his surroundings. Since he was in the middle of the road, he pondered where that path could lead him.

"Oh! I forgot. I still have three other things I've received from the Great One's Gift Box. I must check all of them out!" Recalling the gifts he received from the Great One, Vi couldn't help but wear an excited smile. "If I remember correctly, there is one passive skill and two other items... Let me see the passive skill first."

"Passive Skills!" Vi then ordered the system.

Immediately after that, another hologram screen projection appeared in his view.

• Stagnant - No experience gain. Prohibited from leveling up.

• Supreme Body - The user will have a body immune to all negative status effects. It also ignores the enemy's advanced attributes. If the user fights and the enemy is at a higher level than him, then the hidden power will be triggered.

(Hidden power: +1 all stats per level difference. If there is more than one enemy, then the additional all stats will multiply depending on the number of enemies who trigger the combat mode and their level differences.)

"My goodness! Immune to all the negative status effects?! And it also ignores advanced attributes?!! On top of that, this hidden power... This is insane!" Vi immediately gasped in shock upon reading the description of the passive skill he'd obtained. Not to mention the immunity to all negative status effects and the ability to ignore advanced attributes, there was also the hidden power that shocked him the most!

"This hidden power..." Vi read the description again to see if he read it right, but upon making sure of it, a wide grin immediately appeared on his lips. And then an excited voice sounded next, "It seems like I'm really not out of luck! This hidden power really gets along with my damned passive skill, Stagnant!"

Since he would likely remain a level 1 player his entire life, any monsters or players were most likely at a higher level than him. If he fought them, then an increase in all stats was assured!

On top of that, if he fought a mass enemy, then the increase in all stats would be higher! That was surely insane! If he fought a thousand level six monsters at the same time, then +5,000 all stats would be added to him. If this wasn't insane, then the world must be mad!

The more Vi thought about the hidden power of his passive skill: Supreme Body, the wider the grin he could have. His hands shook more and more violently as he couldn't contain the excitement he felt anymore.

"This is only about the passive skill: Supreme Body... If I add the strength I can gather with the help of the world's mana, then..." Vi muttered in a low voice, a sudden realization entered his mind as he continued, "I would be invincible! I can finally crush those bastards who hurt my big sister!"

Rustle! Rustle!

Just as Vi was getting wilder and wilder, he suddenly heard a rustle behind the thick bushes on the roadside. A change of expression could immediately be seen from Vi as he got serious and warily shifted his gaze to the source of the rustle.

Only to find a little green slime jumping from behind the thick bushes.

"Trying to run away, huh? In your dreams." Vi suddenly said, seeing the small slime bouncing like a ball on the road opposite his direction. He didn't waste another second as he started to run in chase of the slime.

With his speed, even if he didn't use the world's mana, it didn't need a lot of time for him to catch up. As such, he appeared right in front of the slime the next instant.

"Hmph!" Vi wasn't merciful either. With an impassive expression, he waved his hand horizontally. Something like a sword slash was then formed through mana, gushing out towards the pitiful little slime.

The slime was helpless to even put in a bit of retaliation. Within seconds, it had been annihilated pitifully as its jelly meat splattered all over the ground.
