Ten minutes later and I was preparing for the second baby. This one was coming very slowly, almost like it wanted to torture me on purpose. I was wailing and blubbering like a fool because the contractions for this one were severe and gut wrenching.

"It's coming, just give me a big push, okay?" This doctor was mind numbingly patient, a virtue that I—sadly— did not share. "There we go, now we just need to get the shoulders. Give me just one moment…" I was basically gasping for air and trying to keep my mind off of anything other than the piercing pain in my lower regions. My belly had barely descended in size, much to my annoyance. I used to think that the stomach would go back to flat as soon as the babies came out. "Alright now push!"
