1 Prologue

Dante woke to the sound of his father whinny, followed by a few hoof beats and human feet.

His older sister ran into his room.

“Come with me brother, quickly!” she commanded as she opened the window. They both scrambled out, jumping from the second floor. The rolled through their landing and as soon as they got up, they started running.

“Head towards the trees, go to our cave, the one where the wise one is, he'll protect you. And whatever you do. Don't look back! I mean it Dante, whatever happens, keep running, nothing can catch you if you run!!” his sister said and they both ran for trees. But then he heard his sister scream and he turned around. A man wrapped his hands around his waist and put something over his mouth and he went to sleep.
