1 (1) The letter

    "It came in, oh my gosh!!". Lily screamed loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear. Currently as she have just arrived to her room at her childhood home to surprise her mom only to end up being the one who's surprised. She's freaking out right now, the cause being the letter that Lily has dreamed of receiving since figuring out they have a paid internship program, They meaning The "CCPC" or "Carlton captures photos Company".

Mom came home and told me she knew I was coming home because of my best friends. Kane and Jane, they ruin the surprise for mom to give me one. Lily thought to her self as she held the letter in shock still.

Finally attempting to open up the envelope Lily take the letter out. Mom, Kane and Jane wanted to be present when She either get an acceptance or not. So they dragged the letter which is hugged to her chest from her room upstairs to downstairs in the living room. Lily is standing up, while her mom sits on her own couch even though their all hers but you get the idea, while Jane and Kane are fighting for a spot. Finally getting settled she takes out a paper. Looking in the big envelope Lily realize Theirs two papers and a mini book inside with some cards also. The book seems more as a magazine, but that small detail was ignored at first by Lily as she kept scanning the first paper. letting a breath She didn't know She was holding out attempting to become more relaxed Lily continued.

After looking over the book that seems more as a magazine, paper and cards Lily first saw really fast, realizing none is the letter. placing them on the small table besides her then taking out the last paper in the big envelope.

It's the letter. Lily being nervous resulted to biting her bottom lip. She began to read it slowly while her mom, Kane and Jane starts throwing questions at her "did you get accepted", came from her smiling mom, "bro did u get in or not", obviously from Kane and from Jane as she smiled was "I bet u got in".

Lily looks up to them and they shut up almost immediately. "I. Got.... In!!!!", Lily exclaim as excitement present on her face.

Her mom, and two best friends Kane and Jane jumped up tackling down Lily from the happiness that ran throughout them each, causing them all to end up on the floor covered by the carpet laughing.

It's been two weeks since the letter arrived and the day I found out I got accepted to "CCPC" internship program.

Taking my time packing I look through the magazine realizing the building I assume was the one I was staying in. It's a really pretty reddish color, small windows on the top floor and towards the middle are regular sized windows. Theirs beautiful colored trees, plants of dark green, light green and burgundy that sat in front of the building. I began to become even more excited all over again that leaving tomorrow after noon meant me getting to London an being there. I honestly couldn't wait.

Before I leave my mom drives me close to where the airport terminal I'm suppose to go through is located and repeats to me again "be careful", "call if you need anything okay" and some more motherly things the way she's been doing since I step foot in the car.

finally boarding the plane, taking my seat, then placing my hand bag in my lap the plane began to lift off almost 10 minutes after People safely settled. The plane ride felt long from New York to London, took a few naps here and there but didn't want to fully sleep yet. The sky view was intruding my sight but I didn't mind at all as it caught my attention I decided to take a picture from my seat near the window. It seems the sun was rising and we were soon to land in a few more hours I began occupying myself with napping and the photos I've taken, but my eyes felt heavy I tried to stay awake enjoying the sky and the view outside of my window, Eventually my eyes ended up closing anyways making me sleep until I was being woken up by a voice of a flight attendant.

Opening my eyes, first thing that caught a glance from me was people leaving the plane. Getting up from my seat I took my hand bag and walked out the plane. People didn't seem in such a rush as where I've grown up in New York specifically Brooklyn but as others would call it "the big apple".

As Im waiting to get my bag I feel someone staring at me. I though to my self "I did just get off a plane I probably looked hideous". I look around and I find a pair of eyes looking at me and we have a stare competition for less then two minutes as I decided to look away from his eyes. Taking a look at what I looked like I seemed decent for someone who just got off long hours of a plane ride. Deciding to ignore the stare I just received I spot my luggage, no more time to be wasted I thought to myself as I was excited to start my internship tomorrow I grabbed my luggage and headed for the exit.

Leaving the Uber I've got, thanking the driver as I was exiting the car I stood in front of the building as I admired the beautiful building I thought to my self "it looks just like in the magazine book".

Upon entry, I tried grabbing all my suit cases but to no avail. Someone who I'm guessing was my now neighbor asked if I needed help to the elevator I simply shook my head saying "yes,please" with a thankful smile plastered on my face.

After an exhausting plane ride entering my new home locking the door after closing it behind me and going straight to an outlet to charge my phone then going straight to the couch to get some sleep. Waking up to stretching and yawning as I sat up, reaching over to get my phone I pick it up to see a few missed calls from my mom, and my two best friends and an email. I call back my mom first telling her I've arrived having small talk then calling in the group chat I created with Jane and Kane in it to tell them the same I've told mom, opening the email realizing it was more information on the internship and schedule.

As I've just finished settling in I looked around the apartment I'm going to be calling home for almost a year I get up to go use the bathroom to get ready to run a few errands. As I make my way in side the small cafe I seen a block down I bumped someone. When I look up only to see those eyes, I've seen before.
