The Alpha

Lindsays' heart skipped a beat, being on the road with Trevor she had realized it was her first time ever going beyond the walls of her homes. Which was later on destroyed after her disappearance.

"What year are we in?" she asked Trevor, as she looked outside the cars' window to the bright lights and long roads.

"Its 2020" he responded back in shock yet understanding.

"Can I ask you a question?" he asked while watching the road ahead.

"Sure"

"How long were you there for.." he said as he took a pause not knowing if to continue "and what happened to your family?"

"Thats two questions" she replied mockingly, yet hiding the sadness in her voice.

"It's been two years now" she replied, "I'm 19 years old now, I think.."

Even though she had not replied to the second question, He had realized it was a sensitive topic and decided not to pursue it.

A few minutes later, they had arrived to what seemed what the largest mansion in New Orleans. A light beige color home, with a large white pickled fence and an enormous patio filled with orchids and beautiful flowers.

There were a few workers outside gardening the plants and laughing with each other in harmony.

"We're here!" he said, while driving to what seemed like the largest garage in bloody America.

"Wow" she thought to herself in awe. She then proceeded to looked over to Trevor who seemed like he was hesitating to say something.

"Look, I have to warn you, your mate he's.." he stopped. "He's not the easiest person to speak to.." He finally said while looking towards her to see her reaction.

She then got out of the car and closed her eyes out of fear, and met Trevor on the side of the garage.

"Trevor.. I have to ask you something you have to agree not to laugh to" He then nodded as she then anxiously asked "What's a mate?"

Silence fell on the room, while he continued to look unwaveringly into her glowing yellow eyes, seeing if it was one of her games. "I don't think it is" he told himself in shock

"What do you mean.. no no" he said catching his breath, almost as if he had lost something.

"Lindsay are you even a-" he stopped mid-sentence. "wolf?"

"A what?" she replied back in surprise.

For all she knew, she was completely human with no supernatural blood in her, her mother was a psychic but her father was human.

"The Alpha will deal with you" he said sighing in disbelief that she was being truthful. "Maybe this is her way of escaping" he thought

Walking towards the living room she felt an unwavering bundle of nerves. Her heart raced while she took deep breaths. She had never been this nervous in her life. Her father taught her to be strong and not give into emotions but however much she tried it's almost as if she couldn't catch her breath.

"Stay here" he said, While walking to what seemed like the largest staircase she had ever seen.

Lindsay after waiting for a few minutes decided it was best to look around if it was to be her so called 'new home' as he called it.

"Who are you?" someone with a high pitched voice asked. It was almost as if he was smaller- "hey little man, I'm Lindsay" she said looking down to her knees, "he's the cutest little thing" she thought.

"Lili" he then said happily "Would you like to play with me? I'm four" he asked jumping up and down as if he just found a new puppy.

"Sure" she answered happily, "but first can you show you around, I'm new here"

He nooded back, holding his arms up with his small car for her to carry him. She then took him up towards her shoulders and began walking. "There you go little buddy" she said with content in her eyes, afterall she just made a new friend even if it was a child. "Which way next soldier"

Lindsay was one of the strongest in her family of four. Many had not known her physical strength because of how tiny she is. Being 5'5 and very petite made her seem even smaller and weaker than she was.

A few minutes later..

"I lost my toy lili" he said almost in tears.

"Its okay little man, let's get you down and find that toy" she replied, as she played with his hair and he chuckled.

Looking to her side trying to find his missing toy she gasped as she saw the black haired man with stricking green eyes, she had seen that one night when she was imprisoned

"It's you" she said not believing her eyes

"Aiden come here" he said with the deepest mainless yet sexiest voice she had heard.

"Excuse me?" she snapped.

"His names Aiden" he said as he pointed down at the little boy she called buddy. Proceeding to let him go as he went to find his toy where the mysterious man was.

"Oh" she realized. She had not learned his name in the few minutes they were together. She felt as if her heart was about to leap through her throat and blushing did not make it any better.

"Elios" He said as he introduced himself and chuckled at her embarrassment, not lasting too long before the smile disappeared.

"Lindsay" she replied back looking at his striking green eyes.

"I'm Aiden" the little guy said, as they both chuckled at him

Suddenly, hearing fast footsteps grow closer and closer Trevor returned had returned.

"They're coming for revenge" he said with the darkest look in his eyes.

"What should we do.." as he looked over towards the man Lindsay just met

"..Alpha"
