The next day Xander was ready to check out his system since he fell asleep as soon as he got home, he simply thought about it and the familiar blue screen opened up in front of him.

Xander kept wondering, how did he get beast crystals from fighting a doll, he through about it for a while, he thought about it for a few more minutes before he realised that the doll was powered by crystals just like his own, most likely one crystal powered the first sent of arms, and the send crystal powered the second set of arms the last crystal must have been powering it's legs, He then put his stats where they needed to be

All of his stats looked preety decent when he looked at them now, and it really was a surprise to see what he could achieve in a matter of days with his Phoenix System.

After he was done packing his belongings he was excited to the knights registration centre, by his mother and after he said his goodbye to her he went inside.

The students were already inside and it was only after a few minutes later that the knights came in, and it wasn't just the knight who made himself known to the public,there was also two others by his side.

"Good morning to you all, I am sir Cathasach, and the man by my right is sir Bahram and the man to my left is sir Max, and would you all like to share your names with us", sir Cathasach said with a smile.

Everyone of them introduced each other and they soon got into a carriage, very soon they were in the forest but there was a path already cleared.

One thing that made Great lake academy special was that it was located in the middle of a forest that was full of beasts,and why it was built that way was so that the students would not try to run away, the Academy had a reputation of bringing forth strong and skilled individuals, just at the price of training at a very very intense level.

While they were in their way, everyone of them started chatting, the knights as well as three other teenagers, the only people who were not talking to each other was Xander and kelvin, the two boys sat in silence for a while before kelvin iniated a conversation.

"Hi, am kelvin", kelvin said with a smile and Xander returned it, the reason Xander didn't speak to anyone was because he was a bit shy, though he wasn't socially awkward he wasn't exactly the best as starting a conversation.

" Am Xander, please to meet you", he said with a bit of a low voice.

"I was wondering, how exactly did you manage to beat that robot", he asked and a bit excited to hear the answer.

" I just punched kicked clawed and then it fell to the ground ", he said flatly and it was this sort of thing that made it so he dihave a girlfriend.

"Okay so I was wondering, what exactly is your ability I heard that the crystals that powered the doll was missing so I was just curious", he asked and made sure that the curiosity was evedient in his voice.

It made Xander think for a while before he answered, "I don't have an ability", he said with a smile and Xander said it so soomthly and so calm that you would think it wasn't something to be a bit embarrassed in this day and age.

"Oh I see, then how did you get so strong I mean you are not that bulky, yet you're still this strong", kelvin said amazed while Xander smiled and replied saying, "I just work out a lot, and try to push my body to the limit".

Soon they stopped and the workers that came with them, made a fire and set up their tents and they chatting resumed, but a few minutes after they had all gone to bed, smoke started rising up and it started to surround the whole area, but this smoke was black like Xander's smoke, this smoke was green in colour.

Soon enough the knights noticed it and woke up the students, " everyone prepare for battle, we have a little group among us", sir Cathasach said.

From the smoke that was everywhere a few beasts started to come out, they were about thirteen in number, each one of them had the appearance of a bear, but these beasts had a long young sticking out of their mouths.

Instantly Xander activated his Aura Detector skill, and activated his steel claws he charged forward and started dealing with one of the beast and made quick work of it, he soon noticed that his eyes were hurting him, it was as if they had just been washed with pepper spray, but when he closed his eyes the pain stopped and it seemed to only happen when a person's eyes were open.

But it didn't matter much because thanks to the Aura Detector skill, he could see and feel perfectly even without opening his eyes.

And a few minutes of fighting had gone by he had already killed two of the beasts, but he soon started to hear screams coming from the carriage, it was the workers they needed help and the knights had their hands full on the beast that surrounded them.

So he ran forwarded and when he got there three of the beasts were trying to break into the carriage, but he ran forward as quickly as possible slashed all three of them to make his presence know to them.

The growled at him angrily and, one of them charged in while the other two kept attacking the carriage, but Xander had a few more tricks up his sleeve, they weren't the only one with smoke powers.

He activated the smoke control and he allowed the whole area to be filled with smoke, he was going to try and kill them all in his Fifteen Minutes time limit.

As expected the beasts attention left the bears and were focused on how to move in their surroundings, he ran forward and swiftly cut off the leg of the first beast, and but now the beast knew that it was being attacked so it kept attacking the air furiously, and one of it hit Xander.

But Xander ignored it and slashed its neck, slowing down the movement of the best significantly, he the jumped up and kneed the beast and soon the beast was on one knee and Xander soon searched its head from its body.

He ran forward and stabbed the nest beast in its chest and soon, but the beast was lucky enough to grab the hands if Xander and soon he banged Xander on the floor making him spit out blood, and it wasn't an attack he could use the smoke block skill, and after the beast banged Xander on the floor two more time making it threw, Xander started coughing up blood.
