A little bit of history

Currently the students were free to do as they pleased, and after the three boys were almost done un-packing their stuff, the three boys talked to each other.

"So where are you both going", kelvin asked both if them and Xander was the first to reply.

"Am heading to the library, there are some things I want to look into", he said after arranging he last of his stuff. " How about you were are you going to", Xander asked looking at kelvin this time.

"Am just going to the training hall, I have to stretch out a bit", kelvin said with a bit of excitement in his voice.

"How about you Alvin where you going to", Xander asked and the guy answered immediately.

" I am heading to the training hall with kelvin ", he said and kept unpacking and kelvin helped him out since be bad nothing to do.

Meanwhile Xander headed towards the library and the moment he hit there he instantly started searing for anything with the smoke ability, he didn't search for it in a particular section of a nation he rather spent hours searching for it in the four Nation's historical abilities.

He searched for about two hours before he gave up his search he then went and started searching the part of the library that covered the history of the four Nation for information relating to the Phoenix race.

According to book, it states that the Phoenix race was a race of people that had the appearance of a regular human, and the only thing was that their overall strength was better than that of humans.

And the most important of all was that there were the ones that taught the four nations, the main abilities which were water, earth, fire and air and the reason for the Phoenix racedeciding to do this was to grow and improve the strength of the humans, since a large number of the humans worried that the Phoenix race would one day take over and use them as slave.

And a few years after the humans race had learnt the abilities they soon began to unlock new abilities which were known as sub abilities like lightning for the fire nation body hardening for the earth kingdom, healing for the water tribe and spiritual projection from the air nomads.

And soon the humans began to unlock more and more of these strange and new abilities, it increases their strength greatly as humans were now able to learn at least two abilities.

But it was a disadvantage to the Phoenix race as they were not able to learn these new abilities, and neither were they able to hold more than one abilities. And after the passing on of a few centuries fights began to happen between humans and Phoenix, first it started as small scuffles here and there but it soon look place as a full scale attack, and very soon the two races were at war, and due to the significant boost in strength in humans they were able to defeat the Phoenix while driving out the rest of them.

Soon with each nation wanting more power there were wars,to get more land as well as to conclude more, but they soon came to a halt when the forbidden arrived.

Xander was done reading the book and he decided to head to the training hall to see what his two friends were up to and maybe possible get in the fun.

When he got in he met the two boys about to start spearing each other, kelvin had a large battle axe with him, while Alvin had two twin swords.

And soon they began, kelvin was at the defesive side, while Alvin was on the offensive side, and Alvin soon charged and and slashed kelvin vertically, but the attack was quickly blocked by his battle axe, and it seemed as if the attack from Alvin didn't do anything, another thing that Xander noticed was that it was a no ability duel since kelvin could have used an earth wall to block that attack.

But he kept pushing on, he kept attacking kelvin continuously with his right hand that he had gotten a bit too focused on the sword on Alvin's right hand that he didn't notice when another strike was coming and was close to hitting his back, when out of nowhere kelvin threw his battle axe in the air and in that same moment he did a front flip and blocked the sword, because assuming he would have decided to stand up, the attack from Alvin would have hit him.

"Fresh moves man, but try and beat this", kelvin said as the battle axe landed in his hand and he soon threw it kelvin and the back of it hit him on the chest pushing him back.

He had attempted to use his swords to block the attack, But the weapon was too bulky.

"Surrender", kelvin said like an officer telling a criminal to pull over.

"Never", Alvin yelled at kelvin, and then he let out a vertical slash, and while kelvin was trying to block the attack, Alvin whacked both of the hands that kelvin used to wield the axe, kelvin almost dropped it to the floor but he twisted it in mid air, and Alvin threw out a slash and it almost landed on Kelvin's neck and Kelvin's axe almost landed on Alvin's neck, both weapons were a few inches away from each other's neck. And soon Xander shouted it's a drawl.

It was all a beautiful display of their weapons, and Xander thought it was so fluid that it looked like a practiced dance. And though it was a short and quick duel, it was awesome if Xander was to say so himself.

Xander came to the part of the hall were they were and he soon started praising them, but it was soon cut short as a loud bell rang three times before a female voice said, " students be at the dining hall for dinner".
