"Amon? Uh, you don't happen to be a mutant that has blood bending abilities, do you?" I asked as I thought of the villain of the same name from the Legend of Korra.

"What?" The man asked as he and Storm both gave me confused looks.

"Uh, nothing, just forget about what I said," I said as I shook my head.

"Ororo, you have a strange student," Amon said before grabbing a nearby chair and pulling it over to our table, where he took a seat. "Now, what is it that you need my help with?"

"Well as you know, I joined a school for mutants to learn and control their powers, well the headmaster of the school pinpointed a young mutant here that has been using his powers, and he wants to recruit him to the school," Ororo explained to the man.

"I still don't see where I come into this," Amon said.

"Well, the mutant's name is Remy LeBeau," Ororo said, which made Amon look at her with a shocked look.

"That's Jean-Luc's boy," Amon said. "You want to recruit Jean-Luc's boy to your school? LeBeau would never go for it. That boy is his best thief."

"He'll consider it if I'm the one that's asking," Ororo said in a tone that had me wondering.

"Wait, did you and this Jean-Luc use to be a thing or something?" I asked Ororo with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.

If Ororo could blush red, I'm sure she would be as Red as a tomato from my suggestion.

"Ooohh, you were," I said as that look on her face answered my question.

"Feelings aside, I still don't think Jean-Luc will allow his boy to go to your school Ororo," Amon said, bringing the conversation back to the matter at hand.

"What if I could convince Remy to go to the school? Would that help in our favor?" I asked.

"I don't know, but we can try. I'll take Ororo to talk with Jean-Luc while you talk with Remy," Amon said. "Remy is supposed to be meeting a potential client, so I could send you his way. Just tell him I was suspicious of the client and sent you as backup."

"That's great. Just think of the location, and I can find him from there," I said.

Amon raised his eyebrow and looked at me curiously.

"Oh, I'm a telepath. I can read minds," I explained to him, and he nodded before he opened up his mind to my Telepathy.

After getting Gambit's location from Amon, I split from him and Ororo and made my way to the place that Gambit was supposed to be.

Apparently, he's supposed to be meeting some man named Nathaniel Essex. Wait a minute, isn't that the name that was covered up in the quest? What significance does this man have that'll cause an unknown failure if I don't recruit Gambit to the school?

A/N: Just a side note Jean doesn't know Mr. Sinister as Nathaniel Essex, so she has no clue about him as of yet.
